What would be the best wording? I’m aiming for an entry level position in a Big 4 firm in NYC.

    something like this?

“Objective: Employment in the accounting field, particularly taxation.

CPA candidate for New York State; All exam sections passed; have 150 credit hours”

I interviewed at one Big 4 firm end of last year. They were very encouraging. The impression I got was that I needed to have all exam sections complete before they’d take me on.

    Personally? Leave off the objective.

As a bullet on top of your resume with all the qualifications (at least what I put for mine), I'm just editing yours,

“CPA candidate for New York State with all exam sections passed and completed 150 credit hours”

You can also put “pending experience” too in that sentence if you'd prefer.

Leave out the objective. Your objective should be conveyed in a cover letter!

    Thank you for those comments!

    Another question, if I may.
What is the best way to feature the passed CPA exam on a LinkedIn profile header under my name?
“NY CPA Candidate; All Sections Passed.” is what I'm going with right now.
