Wait for score results or begin studying for another exam?

Hey everyone, just took BEC yesterday and was wondering if it would be smart to wait until my score release (March 8th) or just go ahead and begin studying for another section? If I didn’t pass BEC, I would probably want to go ahead and try it again first since the material would be still fresh. Also, if I do go ahead and start on a new section, what should the order be? FAR, AUD, REG?

    AUD - 76 (expired) 12/10

    BEC - 84

    FAR - 71 (Feb 2020)

    REG - 82

Depends..do you have another section line up before the end of Q1? If not, I'll probably wait.

    AUD - 82
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 81
    REG - 82
    FAR - 74 first attempt

Nope, my NTS actually just expired today. So I'm not sure which exams to even schedule or apply for again.

    BEC - 84

    FAR - 71 (Feb 2020)

    REG - 82

I would begin studying for another section. At least that's what I've been doing throughout the process.

    AUD - NINJA in Training
    BEC - 77
    FAR - 74
    REG - NINJA in Training
    FAR - 73, 74, re-taking 4/6 (hopefully 3rd time is the charm!)
    REG - 3/10/2017

I'd wait the 11 days. Assuming you busted your butt studying for BEC taking a small break can't hurt. Also, then if you didn't pass BEC you can jump right back on it and schedule a early/mid April retake and also schedule a last possible day of Q2 exam.

Done! 9 tests over 16 months. Failed first 3 with Becker. Passed 4 of next 6 with Ninja MCQ.

    FAR: 39,59,TBD
    BEC: 74,79
    AUD: 77
    REG: September

It wouldn't hurt to start studying another section. If you want to fit two tests in Q2 I would definitely jump on it. If you failed and want to go back to BEC you can easily do that. If you passed, you already got a head start on the next section. Otherwise, you wait and lose ten days of studying.

    AUD - 72
    BEC - 75
    FAR - 82
    REG - 80

I think you should keep pushing. Like industryCPA noted, if you wait you'll lose time. And, if you're anything like many of us here, you probably want this done with as soon as possible.

What has worked for me was to start with the section I thought would be most demanding. For me it was FAR. I didn't want the clock to start ticking until I passed it. Day after taking FAR I started on AUD. I'm now working on REG and will save BEC for last.

What I've noticed is that there is cross-over in each of the sections I've studied/sat for so far. FAR concepts came in to play on AUD. I'm noticing that elements of both FAR and AUD are showing up in REG. With that said, the concepts you covered in BEC have a good chance of inserting themselves into whichever section you start studying for next. So, don't worry too much about the information being fresh. What you've done so far will likely help you in whatever you study for next.

Everyone has their own reasons for deciding when to tackle each section. You have to do what will work best for you. This forum is a great resource to help you come up with a plan.

I hope you did well on BEC. Best wishes on the rest of your exams.

    FAR: 80 (10/28/2016)
    AUD: 85 (2/6/2017)
REG: DSIT (Dragon Slayer in Training) (5/2017)
BEC: DSIW (Dragon Slayer in Waiting) (7/2017)

I walked out of all my Exams so pumped I would start studying for the next part the same night. Never wait, just grind and get it done.

    AUD - 86
    BEC - 70
    FAR - 78
    REG - 84

I would say keep studying, the time is wasted. What you passed or didn't pass is the past, and you will get back to it later anyways.

Working full-time and taking all 4 parts in one window.

If I can do it, you all can too.

I think it depends on how you feel. I know many people think they failed and passed, or think they passed and then ended up failing so it's hard to tell. But were you able to finish all the questions? How was the written communication? Did you run out of time and leave any blank?

When is the final score release date for Q1?
