Can comparable in MCQ and comparable in simulations lead to above 75 means “pass” or one of the both must be stronger?

Disregard – I thought you meant in prep but I think you mean actual exam results.

    AUD - 77
    BEC - 81
    FAR - 77
    REG - 81
REG - 1. Becker only - fail (forgot to study depr - oops); 2. Becker only - Pass
FAR - 1. Becker only - fail; 2. added Ninja Notes and MCQ - Pass
AUD - 1. Becker videos; Ninja Notes, Audio, MCQ, Becker Notes - Pass
BEC - 1. Ninja Notes, Audio, MCQ, Becker Notes - Pass

due to the new format 50% MCQ and 50% SIMS this is how they are weighted. So my assumption goes like this (bc remember 75 is not a percent but the number of points needs that tells AICPA you have enough knowledge to go out there and present yourself as a CPA.
Therefore whenever I took an exam (0-99) and knowing The max “points i could get in either MC or SIMS is 50 (or 49.5 if you want accuracy). I could still pass doing very well on MCQ (getting a max point accumulation) this allowed me to make mistakes on the SIMS and still pass. Of course this can go vice versa.

So 75 isn't the percentage correct but for each correct answer you score points depended on their weighted difficulty. That is why two candidates can get 50% of the questions correct while one passes and the other one does not.

Hope this clarifies a bit for you.

    REG - Passed

If both are comparable, it should definitely net you a passed. I never or rarely heard of anyone failing because both MCQ and sims were comparable.

    AUD - 82
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 81
    REG - 82
    FAR - 74 first attempt

    ^Agreed.

    Comparable + Comparable = PASS

It means you don’t have to take that exam for another 18 months!!

    Goodluck.
