I currently applied for jurisdiction in MN and will be starting work at a public accounting firm in MN in January. I have already passed one of the tests (which I passed in MN) but am currently out in Massachusetts until I start work. I was just wondering if I pass the exams in Massachusetts if my scores will transfer and count in MN?

You can be approved to sit in a specific state but physically take the exam at any Prometric center.

As long as you are a candidate for the state you're seeking licensure in I believe that you can take the exam in other states. I'm a Massachusetts candidate but live in Rhode Island and have taken my 2 tests in RI so far.

My two closest test centers are in 2 different states. I took 3 exams in 1 state and 1 exam in the other state, but all as a candidate of the first state (KY), and it wasn't any issue at all for licensure. It's the state you apply under that matters for where your scores are sent, not where you physically are when you take the exam.
