So I know I can't be the only one anxiously waiting for their scores.
Dec 19 will be the best or worst day of my life. I took both REG and AUD in October and studied like no tomorrow because my BEC credit was expiring on October 24. I didn't have time to think about a strategy or ask questions like most people do. I literally read the book front to back on both AUD and REG and hoped my public accounting experience would help.
Anyways, if my REG and AUD scores are passing, I AM DONE WITH THE EXAM!! If not, well back to my hole and studying again 🙁
How's everyone else feeling?December 11, 2017 at 8:53 pm #1676932ParthamisParticipant
I wish you the bet of luck! I am waiting for my final part, and am feeling somewhat positive about my final exam experience.December 11, 2017 at 9:03 pm #1676938ineedthiscpa45Participant
I'm awaiting my BEC retake after taking it the first time and receiving a 74. I feel as if i did wayyy better, but you never know with this exam. A passing score would really motivate me to get on track with studying for audit. Best of luck to everyone!December 11, 2017 at 9:47 pm #1676945abby10Participant
I'm waiting for my FAR score, not sure what to expect because I really didn't feel fully prepared, but still trying to be hopeful. Hope you do well and pass. Good Luck!December 11, 2017 at 10:03 pm #1676948AnonymousInactive
Waiting for what would be my last exam which is FAR. Felt pretty crappy leaving the testing center but I feel more confident as the 19th approaches. Looking forward to spending more time with my newborn twins if I passDecember 11, 2017 at 10:45 pm #1676966jenpenParticipant
I’m waiting on REG and BEC. Could be done, but I’d be happy if I at least pass BEC. I’m trying not to get too optimistic, especially how I felt coming out of BEC last week, but I’d love to be done finally. It’s been a long road.
@bmalcolm12 Oh that is so exciting! Give those sweet babies plenty of love. They grow up soooo fast!December 11, 2017 at 11:09 pm #1676978Wanna_B_TXCPA2014Participant
Fingers crossed this is it for me. Been studying far to long.December 12, 2017 at 12:47 am #1677001AnonymousInactive
I'm not anticipating my scores. I can't deal with another fail and I know I fail AUD (for a 3rd time).December 12, 2017 at 4:54 am #1677013studysledParticipant
If I pass audit…I’m done.
If I fail, I lose BEC credit and I have 2 exams left.
Currently sitting next to my wife in the delivery room as she started labor a few hours ago…. (she’s asleep right now), so I could really use the extra time!
Good luck to all.December 12, 2017 at 5:43 am #1677016BamaGuyinNCParticipant
The 19th needs to hurry up. This last one (FAR) has been the most difficult for me. Hopefully third attempt is my Christmas gift after 71 and 73 on first and second attempts. Good luck to everyone.December 12, 2017 at 6:18 am #1677020Me.Participant
I am waiting for FAR. If I pass I am finally done. If not, one more attempt before I lose one. I got my fingers crossed! Good luck everyone!December 12, 2017 at 8:49 am #1677047ElisabethParticipant
If I pass BEC, I'm done. If not, I've got one more shot before I lose REG…. Hoping for passing scores for everyone!December 12, 2017 at 8:55 am #1677052cmcookParticipant
I could be done Dec 19th.If not, then lucky me, REG for a 3rd go. I can't complain too much since I'm not at risk of losing anything for a while, but the sheer thought of REG a third time makes me want to vomit. Fingers crossed for all of us.December 12, 2017 at 8:57 am #1677055Right Brained AccountantParticipant
I have to take a moment and give props to all the candidates out there who are not obsessive and overly consumed by the anxiety on waiting on the score releases. I know this is yet another exercise in patience, but my mental will power and bandwidth is waning. I think I may stop drinking coffee for the next week… definitely not helping…December 12, 2017 at 9:06 am #1677062JasonParticipant
I was thinking about a medically induced coma haha. This wait is worse than the ~2 month wait, I guess since this is hopefully the last. re-take of AUD, 72 back in September.
btw, I am a 41 year old with 4 kids at home and have passed all sections on 1st setting in 12 months but AUD, which I hate so wasn't a surprise. I think work experience has actually helped me greatly.December 12, 2017 at 9:07 am #1677064BroagParticipant
Hope everyone gets the pass(es) they're looking for. There is no gadget or gift that I would want more than passing and being done with this unforgiving beast. I took AUD and REG (passed once before). If I pass both I'm done, but I don't feel supremely confident at all. My FAR expires on 2/28/18 so it will be nerve-racking if I didn't pass at least one.
Everyone in here studied their butt off. We all deserve this just for the shear fact that we are here talking about it. I know I've been replaying both exams in my head, testlet by testlet, SIM by SIM…nit-picking what I did right, but mostly what I did wrong (or what I suppose was wrong). There is nothing that can be done to change the results, just waiting for the penultimate moment of your life (or the extended lack of social life).
Good luck and Godspeed to everyone!December 12, 2017 at 9:13 am #1677065
I keep logging in to the exam release site hoping they have a glitch in their system and my scores show up early. No luck so far.December 12, 2017 at 9:21 am #1677068Right Brained AccountantParticipant
@Jason – Super props to you and all the other parents out there making it happen with small people at home! Hope you slammed AUD and if you have any tips on the coma, send 'em my way.
@Broag – Hope you also nailed the last two so FAR will be only a distant memory! At least we will know who our real friends are if they recognize us emerging from these cocoons.December 12, 2017 at 9:21 am #1677071DroParticipant
I'm waiting for FAR and AUD. I lose REG 12/31 so the struggle is real. I've been on this journey for awhile and have received my fair share of Fails. Trying to stay positive and think about the fact I could potentially be done soon. Good luck to everyone!December 12, 2017 at 9:36 am #1677080BroagParticipant
I've definitely lost a couple friends over the course of this journey. I won't really care if I pass though. Pressure is mounting at work to pass this darn thing.December 12, 2017 at 9:57 am #1677088
take some XANAX or several of them. The scores come out DEC 19 at 1AM if your NASBA. your not going to get preferential treatment my getting your score early. NASBA or your state board could care less about you.December 12, 2017 at 10:00 am #1677091tncpa2018Participant
Omg! This thread is making me more anxious 😀.
Waiting for my first exam result.
I keep telling myself, no big deal if I don’t pass just retake it again. But… I’m still hoping for that 75.December 12, 2017 at 10:01 am #1677092
all you are to them is a revenue generator . They love giving 74'sDecember 12, 2017 at 10:09 am #1677094
Shawn – my post specifically said “a glitch in their system” not “I hope they like me better than everyone else and put my scores up early”. You're just looking for arguments and you're really making yourself look like a complete idiot. But then again, you're in VA, that's self explanatory.
How many times have you failed Shawn? I'll take your answer with a grain of salt.December 12, 2017 at 10:19 am #1677095Nereida2Participant
First attempt for FAR. Wishing for the best mcqs where ok but sims where lengthy. @jennifer how did you get your score high for far? 82? Might need some advice if I didn't passDecember 12, 2017 at 10:24 am #1677098jenpenParticipantDecember 12, 2017 at 10:37 am #1677101
I see you have zero passes so to me your a NOBODY!!! And for me or anyone that has failed…as cheesy as it sounds …its not how many times you fail it is how many times you bounce back.
your comments have ZERO merit . What does living in VA have to do with anything? The northern VA and MD suburbs of DC are the most affluent in the nation. Google “most wealthiest counties in US”. 7 of the 10 are suburbs of DC and I happen to live in 1 of them. The county I live in has median household income of 120K +/-. The neighboring county is like 115K +/-.
Where is your BF tommy cat?December 12, 2017 at 10:44 am #1677107
Correct, I have zero passes and I publish that. For all we know, you have zero passes and 15 fails and you won't answer the question. Therefore, your comments have zero merit as well. Also, it doesn't matter if you live in a wealthy suburb. I see many homeless people that live in NYC.
I highly enjoy reading your comments honestly, it brings more humor throughout my day. Thank you Shawn.December 12, 2017 at 10:49 am #1677119
ok I updated the signature. would you like me to text you a pic of my NASBA score report so your 100% satisfied.

Waiting on BEC. If I fail I lose FAR. After 2 years and 3 months of telling my kids I can't play because I need to study this is it. Hoping for a pass so that not all is lost.
