Wiley CPAexcel Assessment Issues

I am starting to go through Wiley CPAexcel during the free trial. I’ve started with governmental and not for profit accounting first since I never took a class with it and I want to come back to review it again before the test, but want to get exposed to it ASAP.

Anyways: I noticed when taking the first couple of assessments after the videos/notes that the questions were not covered in the video. I can only assume they are covered in the textbooks you would receive if you sign up? If anyone has the books can you share your experience? Because if they aren’t answered in the textbooks then I certainly don’t think it is the right review course for me. Thanks!

I have the full Wiley package including the book, and lecture videos etc. I definitely agree that the video lectures and MCQs don't line up 100%. What I did find was the next few video lectures cover the question from the previous lesson. So its not terribly good but eventually it covers it in my experience with it.

There is way more info in the text than in the videos. You have to read the text if you want to get all the info covered in the questions. Wiley is a good review course and certainly covers all material you would see in the questions.

Thanks for your help. I have decided to go ahead and take the plunge and purchase Wiley. It matches up well with my learning style in that I can watch the lectures/short overview then dive deeper into the notes section. Once I get the books that will help even more clarify issues I'm not grasping with videos/notes.

    Happy studying!
