Just took FAR and I wish I didnt have to wait until next Q to retake it. i KNOW I didnt pass (freaked out on the sims and was just entering in numbers and selecting answers randomly- and still managed to run out of time for the last two sims). So as much as I hope I magically passed, I know that wont be the case.

The material is soooo fresh in my mind that I just want to be able to hammer out a review for like 2 weeks and then go in for a retake.

Anyone know WHY we cant retake an exam in the same Q? I get not being able to take it in the same MONTH, but at least let me have another go at it next month. Instead of next Q 🙁

Just one of those dumb AICPA rules that makes our lives miserable:)

It's coming. In one of the Journal of Accountancy podcast the guy that runs the CPA exam for the AICPA said they are working on eliminating dead months and allowing people to retake sections in the same window.

AUD - 64, 80 Passed on 10/09/17

BEC - 75 Passed on 12/09/17

FAR - 69, 71, 73, 83 Passed on 06/10/18

REG - 81 Passed on 09/10/17

I wish the same but for retakes to happen they would have to release scores early and this could also end this miserable wait time. I still have 48 more days before score release…ughhh…
