    Hi All,
I have had great success with Yaeger CPA review. I just found out that I passed BEC with an 84.
My CPA Exam journey is over as this was my last section.
Yaeger has some really nice features that set it apart from the rest of the courses that I have investigated.

Their customer service is outstanding and generally Sonny gets back to you right away.
Also, the tons of times I posted on their message boards and always got a response the same day or the following morning! This helped me so much.

I had to retake REG and when I looking into Becker and Rodgers, neither was able to provide the quick response time on their message boards.

Finally, if you get really stuck, you can use the instructor hotline and get 1 on 1 coaching for any particular problem you are having. They even can encourage you if you are really upset or feeling like you want to quit.

Each class has its pros and cons, but I am glad that I choose Yaeger!
Good luck to all. You will be so happy when it is over!

This is good to know…I wish I'd known it 15 months ago before purchasing Roger, which has not worked out at all for me and I shall be going the Ninja route here very soon (after studying for REG, 1st attempt.) One of my old instructors had some discount deals with all the big review vendors – Becker, Roger, Yeager, Gleim, and maybe a few more. He said Yeager had a good reputation.
But, I just never heard anyone else talk much about it. Roger and Becker are way overrated!!! Anyhoo, glad u passed and are done with this crazy process.

Stay with it! For REG, I did not pass the first time either and was on the phone with Phil Yaeger many, many times. He helps and is happy to discuss your weak areas with you We discussed general concepts and specific mcq or sims.
The other instructors will help too.
I had to keep going back and forth on some of the tricky mcq and staff monitor the message boards.

The difficulty I had with REG was learning all of the Business Law and all of the tricky tax regulations. After talking my difficult areas through with Phil, I went in there and scored an 89! Sometimes you just need live person to discuss these things with.

Many people have luck with Ninja too.

Good Luck and don't give up!

My original reply is gone now, it got deleted – actually someone mentioned to me earlier that they had the same problem today. But thank you! I'm glad you got through it!

Phil Yaeger will speak with anyone about any question and he is especially great at helping with REG.
He loves taking calls from students!!
I would speak with him multiple times per week a few weeks prior to my exam.

I really and truly hate to say this but I'm sorry now that I picked Roger. Even Gleim, as big a pain in the ass as some say it is, has counselors who you can talk to.
I'm glad your review course worked well for you. I think Ninja is gonna be good for me, when I do buy it, after finishing up REG on Roger. Gleim and some of the other
vendors told me that theyd' give me discounts since I already purchased one review course and had a bad experience with it but even with the discounts I don't
think it would work. Too much money, and I just need the practice questions and bullet-point outlines, not audios/vids. I'm gonna be starting all over again,
from square 1. I have to retake FAR, AUD, and BEC (don't know BEC score yet but if I passed, I'd be shocked.) At least Jeff answers emails and does communicate with people.

Has anyone (who might be reading this) heard of a review vendor called Bisk? They are no longer around I don't think but one of my coworkers had Bisk. She failed them
all too, then got onto Surgent and has started passing them. And she is no slouch, she's a very bright lady. Yet, this Bisk program helped her fail! I don't know anyone else
on Surgent though. They gave her 50% off.

@crazyleon bisk was acquired by ninja in 2016. If you look at the ninja product list, go to 2017 ninja plus… It's the old bisk review.

@Elisabeth – that's very interesting. The person who had Bisk told me that it totally sucked – why would Jeff/Ninja acquire it, I wonder?? Sounds like the company didn't have much in the way of assets LOL. I don't know what “the old Bisk review” looked like though, so I doubt I'd recognize it or anything, unless it specifically says “Bisk” on there somewhere.

@crazyleon I dont know you, sure you a good guy, but on several threads you continue to bash Roger, Becker, Gleim yet people are passing with these courses all the time. Stay positive and maybe one day you'll pass the cpa exam. You bring all kinds of negative energy to these threads. If you studied more instead of writing paragraph essays on review courses you might pass.

Jeff is nice enough to allow the talk of of other cpa review courses on the forums yet he sells Ninja. All the cpa review courses can co-exist. I'm a Becker 2017 Course user and I love it, but I also tried Roger and Ninja, but I prefer Becker. Done.

We acquired Bisk from Thomson Reuters last fall. The Bisk videos – especially the ones taught by Bob Monette – are good.

A tad dated, but still relevant (according to people studying with them)

They are included in the middle (Sniper) package.

@jcviray If you think he isn't deleting posts about other review courses, you're wrong. My posts have been getting screened and never posted that have positive comments about Yaeger. Super sketchy.

There are hundreds of thousands of posts in this forum about review courses that are not mine – including raving positive reviews like the original post in this very thread.

You have been exhibiting unusual posting behavior by posting the same link in multiple threads…that is typical promotional behavior. All of your posts have been about a particular course – no interaction in the study groups or “non-branded” content, which is not normal.

I apologize if it's all a coincidence. After 8 years of running an anonymous forum and half a million posts, I sometime paint with a broad brush.

@jcviray – I don't know you either. Probably just as well. I *almost* didn't see your reply, and I really wish I hadn't. I suppose my love of writing and the fact that I type really fast just happens to pervade and invade this forum. Anyway, Roger is the only one I bash. I have a right to do that because I bought it. And since I did buy it, and since I'm here, I can talk about it as much as I want to. And your comment about my passing the CPA exam instead of writing essays…I'll ignore it too. I'm not in a huge hurry to pass. I'm not 24 years old and don't need the credential to go into public or something along those lines. And, I guess you have more stamina than I do when it comes to studying because I tend to burn out after awhile. Coming on here is actually good for me. Certain people on here like what I say. If you don't happen to, or think I bring negative energy to the forum, you can always ignore my posts. No one is forcing you to read them. Actually, I am not here all that much – I disappear for 1, 2, 3 months at a time and I don't post on every thread. Have a nice day. Ish.

I would also like to share my extremely positive views of the Yaeger CPA review material. The instructors are great and the multiple choice / simulation test banks are very extensive. From a customer service standpoint, Yaeger employees are always there to answer questions via telephone or threads on the website – and QUICKLY. Phil Yaeger, himself, is always reachable via phone as I have had multiple conversations with him to cover some topics that I was not 100% comfortable with before entering the exam. Yaeger CPA review has also added audio lessons within their material to help deal with stress and test anxiety. I found these tapes to be very helpful as they helped keep me calm and focused during my audit exam yesterday. I highly recommend this study material to all!

    Eric
