In my case, I requested my boss to fill out my work experience since I've worked here for 8 plus years. She was able to return the requested information within 30 minutes.

@LIFO The Party: I forgot to mention that you do not need to study for the Ethics exam. You can easily find the answers since it is open-book. Even though the exam is not difficult, make sure to read carefully.

    My process was as follows:

6/24/19 – I received the Application for Certificate
6/25/19 – I mailed the Application for Certificate filled out to the Board ( 2-day priority mail)
7/12/19 – I received via email the link to the Code of Professional Conduct Exam (also known as the “Ethic Exam)…I submitted the exam the very next morning.
7/18/19 – I received via email my CPA License Number

In regards to the Ethics Exam, the exam can be done under an hour. It is online and open-book. Not hard at all 🙂

    I hope this helps!

Lara, I had the same issue as you. Luckily, I had surgery for it in San Antonio, Tx. My hands dont sweat anymore.

The 4-hour ethics course is a requirement. You will send proof that you took the course with the Application of Issuance of the CPA Certificate. Once the board recieves that, they will evaluate and make sure you met all requirements. Then, the board will send you a link via email for you to take the Code of Professional Conduct exam.

I am now just anxiously waiting for the Board to send me the link for the Code of Professional Conduct exam. I wonder how long they will take. I sent the paperwork on 06/25/19.

Yes Chandler, I did mine before I sat for the exams and you are 100% right, per the instructions on the Application of Issuance, I don't have to get fingerprinted again 🙂

I did my fingerprints with the Letter of Intent and yes IdentGO submitted the results directly to the Board. So, you should be good.
