@McNuggets thanks Champ! Chapter 3 was the roughest by far so I'll make sure to pay close attention to it. And thanks for the confidence boost and overall support!
JoeyParticipantThanks for the advice @Sandysprotege ! I am giving myself plenty of time especially with the whole Corona Virus, I scheduled my test date for May 29th, so if I fail can run it back next quarter. But will definitely nail those topics and will absolutely look at the AICPA SIMs. I am using Becker currently but plan to purchase Ninja soon to supplement. I have been killing the MCQ's early on just some of the SIMs like QBI and other few complicated ones were kicking my ass but will lock those down soon!
JoeyParticipant@Jeff I got my score on March 9th, the date in which NASBA tweeted out and did not have to wait any time at all. My score was an 85. What the person who posted this out forgot to mention is it states on the AICPA website “If you take the BEC section, you might receive your score approximately one week following the target release date due to additional analysis that may be required for the written communication tasks.” In the score Appeal tab on NASBA, it states if you get between a 72-79 on BEC, the written communications are scored twice. If I had to guess, this is why they say BEC can be a week after the score release date.
JoeyParticipantI have officially passed my first part of the CPA! Got a 74 the first try for BEC, 85 this time. Thank you all, I love this forum always being helpful! Now I am officially on the 18th month clock Let's Do It!!!!!!!
JoeyParticipantHope they release them a day early like they did the last score release which was on the 24th instead of the 25th. I have had so much anxiety it has really messed with my mental state.
JoeyParticipant@Icarito it was my 2nd CPA exam ever taken. Failed BEC in Q3 of 2019 and ran out of time in Q4. I do not have any parts passed. But see that you are studying for REG now how is it?
February 17, 2020 at 3:07 pm in reply to: Taking BEC tomorrow and did not get the phone call I got last time #2934918JoeyParticipantThanks @Recked just tried calling them and the phone just kept ringing probably not open today. But the reminder email I got was all good so it is probably because they are closed today.
JoeyParticipantThank you @BiffTannen and @Mikey for the responses. Just feel super nervous. Any advice on how to deal with nerves? I try to tell myself that the world won't end if I have to retake it again to put my life in perspective because the anxiety is really bad at times.
JoeyParticipant@TheeAccountant Do you know where I would be able to see the report? Is it a breakdown of how I did on each topic of the exam? And thank you for the kind words as well as @Tony73085. I will take you advice as well and appreciate the response.
JoeyParticipant@Some_day thanks man that was my initial thinking as well. Have you taken any parts and do you or either @sidieulevent have any advice on what part to take next (if I passed) or suggestions on how to study better if I failed? If I passed I was thinking about moving onto Audit next does that sound like a good idea or logical?
JoeyParticipant@SIDIEULEVEUT thank you that is how I feel, I am like going over different BEC material in the back of my head just because I am pessimistic but I am not worried in the sense I want to give up. I feel if I failed I want redemption. When you started your next part, how far in were you when you found out you passed a part?
JoeyParticipant@TheeAccountant thank you for the reply. They wound up asking for just my license as well as they called me the the next day I posted this question and I asked them the question I posted and they said the credit card is sufficient.
