1) do not want to die, 2) do not give up.
While I finally passed all 4 I will let you know that I took the tests more times than anyone should, lost more scores than is even funny, had MANY 74 scores, and missed multiple opportunities for promotion. I had the same feelings you did – is it worth it? Am I happy? Should I go back to school for something? I literally thought about quitting my job for 6 months to become a dog walker and re-assess my life. I literally blamed everything bad around me on these exams.
Passing my last one with a 76 was redemption.
The reason I passed and i truly believe this is that I TOLD myself it would be my last time taking it. If you let negativity in, it will take over. If someone offered you a glass of water with dirt in it, you wouldn't drink it. Don't let dirt get into your head and buy into it.
Stay strong.

If you postpone scheduling the test it allows you to drag it out longer. That was part of the reason I could not focus properly the first time around… I kept pushing out the deadline and it took me forever. Set the date, set a plan, and stick to it!

Do you not spend days, hours, weeks memorizing the most intense ways of solving difficult problems. I found that I would get tripped over over intensely worded and complicated review questions when the questions on the exam are a lot easier. Having the foundation was very important to me.
Review the answers first and remove at least 2 of them. That helped me make educated guesses.
I did NOT spend a lot of time studying the simulations. That may be controversial but I figured that the amount of time I spent studying other areas would ultimately teach me how to solve the parts of the simulations.
Also, I went through every section of the Wiley FAR study material and HAND WROTE notes, and took questions in every section until I got them right. Repetition helps.
Also, do NOT shut yourself in a room all day, all night, every day, every night. I took time out to eat dinner, go out and be social, spend time with my dog, etc. You NEED the mental breaks or you will get fatigue.
I had to take it 4x and went 49>61>68>76. It's DONE.
GOOD LUCK to those and I will be your fiercest advocate.

I feel like Wiley and the actual exam are on point but I noticed that about 55-60% of my multiple choice questions involved various calculations, which seemed higher than usual (I have taken REG before), so I tried focusing my studies on concepts that involved calculations, formulas, etc. I also made sure to know partnerships, K1s, etc. like the back of my hand.
I felt like a good chunk of my sims had to do with depreciation and property exchanges.
I would be curious to collaborate on FAR using Wiley because I have to pass it by mid-May or lose out on a round of promotions!
