My turn to post here… I've been waiting a long time for this, but I'm officially done!!!

I used the eyeball trick and found out I past my final exam and I'm done 🙂

SO my eyeball changed to No Credit for REG.. Does this really mean I failed? I should have lost AUD which expired 8/28 but that still said Credit..

I took REG today too.. It was my second attempt.. This time I only had 24 hours (two days in total) to re-study the material.. I think I did OK on the MCQ, but OMG the SIMS were insane.. I'm just praying for a pass since it's my last exam and if I fail, I lose AUD.

Oh and I only had 12 minutes left over which I spent on double checking my answers against the authoritative lit. But, I always use up all the time on all my exams, thats just me! Everyone tests differently so don't worry about it!

@nshah1824 I just passed FAR on the third try. This is how I got through it..

During the actual exam, I know when I'm being asked a question that I don't really know… I write that topic down on the scratch paper… Once I'm completely done with the test but before I leave the test computer, I look at that paper and I memorize all the topics I was asked about but didn't fully know (things I made a guess on, etc). When I get into my car, I write those down in my phone note pad.. Those are the topics I KNOW I need to go back and master.

I then go back and re-do all the areas but really focus on those weak areas that I was tested on and master those..

This is how I went from a 65 to a 70 to a 79 for FAR. We need to master our weak areas as best we can, but there is also an element of gamble because you never know what they'll test you on, you might get questions on your strong topics and you might get a lot on your weaker topics.

@iceman I did 1800+ and was trending 92. My average was 66 however. I was going thru section by second on ninja. After I went thru a section I’d immediately go back and re do the wrong ones and read thru the answer to ensure I understood it. I probably should have gone over those wrong ones again. How did you do your MCQ?

@L.J. I'm sorry to hear the bad news.. I'm right there with you… Got a 65 on FAR in June and now a 70 on FAR today. I'm planning on retaking in 3 weeks and then moving on to another test also for Q4. I used Wiley and then on my retake only NINJA MCQ. I did about 1800 but I guess it still wasnt enough to pass. I know I was weak in pension/tax and maybe goofed up on a few other topics.. all of which I'm planning on mastering plus doing more SIMS. I only did a cash flow sim previous to the test., plus the AICPA ones.. Anyway I'm interested to see what others suggest too.

I'm waiting on FAR. I took it 9/7.. When I log into NASBA Central, I dont see the FAR NTS listed there.. It doesn't show up or even say attendance like it normally would.. I hope I get my score on the 19th! Anyone else have that issue?

Ugh yes!! I struggle with Pensions & Deferred taxes. I'm taking FAR tomorrow (second attempt from a 65 back in May). I've done all of the NINJA MCQ's (except the income tax, retirement benefits and stock comp). I'm trending at 89% and I've gotten 76% correct (not in the review stage yet). Today I'm just working the AICPA released and then light note reviewing. I will read the book on tax/pension but I'm just praying I can get by without mastering those topics for FAR.

I failed FAR with a 65… I'm planning on re taking it end of Aug/beg of Sept…

My plan is to start studying this weekend on areas I know that I could improve on (the areas I didnt quite get to the 1st go round). Once I get that notice of what I was weak in, I'll go from there, but honestly I'll prob review everything. I didnt get to do all the NINJA MCQ's. I did all of them for AUD and kept doing them for about 2 weeks prior to the test and passed.. I think doing that for FAR might help..

    What does everyone suggest?

@cbl i used wiley for AUD and FAR. I also used NINJA for both. For Audit I did all of the NINJA MCQ and felt well prepared. For FAR, it def took longer to go through the MCQs so i did around 1200 i think but didnt do all of the NINJA questions for FAR. I def could have spent more time on certain topics, however i felt like i did well on the SIMS. I'm really curious to get my report of weak areas.. anyone know how long that takes to get??

I hope another month of review will be enough time…..

@pablo I took FAR on Monday and feel the exact same way. I thought I did well on the SIMS but a little shaky on the MCQ's. I only have AUD passed so I'm taking a break this weekend and then the next two just lightly studying items in FAR that I feel weak in. I'm not moving on to another part since we'll know our FAR scores soon.

For you, if you have BEC and REG done, I would keep working on FAR until you get the scores.
