I originally got certified in Maryland, but the certificate is HUGE! I also like the look of the VA certificate better and its smaller so if I do frame one it would be VA. I don't see the need to frame both of them. Both of them are bigger than my degree though lol

I did a reciprocal from MD to VA and it only took hours from the time the received my MD “in good standing” letter. I think MD and VA are both fairly quick.

I started out with a tiny accounting firm (less than 50 employees) so I don't think it really matters where you start. I was there for less than 6 months before applying, and subsequent hiring, by the B4. Pick a place that fits you. Learn, learn, learn and then move on. 🙂

I passed FAR with a 75. My score report says:

by Item Type Your Performance Compared to Passing Candidates (Weaker/Comparable/Stronger)
    Multiple Choice (60%)
    Weaker
    Simulations (40%)
    Weaker
    Written Comm. (N/A)
    N/A

So yes, you can pass with being weaker in both MCQ and SIMS. At least under the old exam.

Reading your replies it seems as you don't take feedback very well. Do you think that may play a part in why you've been fired? Yes, we all make mistakes. The key is to apply feedback and grow from those mistakes. Not make multiple excuses for why the mistake happened.

Passed my REG retake with a 76. Failed it the first time with a 74, not much improvement but all I wanted was a 75. Only BEC left; scheduled for 3/9. I am so ready to be done!

I have both Apps on my iPad and know how to switch between them online. I was just curious about using new format for old exam. I think I will do the 2016 mainly and supplement mcQs with 2017 software.

I'm taking REG today. I get the score on my birthday. Not sure if I want to check it that day or not. I do not feel ready and am hoping for the best but also prepared for a fail. But either way I get cake! lol
