I'm done – not the highest scores in the world, but I passed 'em all on the first try! Still can't believe it!!
KGKGParticipantI took 8 courses from UNA (starting with Financial Reporting 1) and they were completely self-paced. Start the course when you want, finish as quick as you want. The only thing that is dependent on the UNA semester schedule is getting your grade – it will only be on your transcript after the official end of the semester.
I loved the Pam Smith and Greg Carnes videos in those UNA courses!

1. American Public University (online) – I took Business Ethics with them and it was a very smooth process to get registered, and the course was only 8 weeks long (and not terribly time-consuming). Quizzes were not proctored. The cost was around $850. Here are links to the course info page and syllabus for Governmental Accounting:

I believe the courses are self-paced, but I think you need to use their proctoring service to take exams. Cost is $866. Here's a link to the course info page:
Don't know if this is helpful to you, but this forum was invaluable to me in passing the CPA exam so I'm trying to pay it back, so to speak!
KGKGParticipantPassed FAR with a low score. A pass is a pass, I know, but somehow I'm still mad at myself for not scoring higher.
I studied HARD for this one, but I think I got too bogged down in all the details and I definitely had that “deer in the headlights” feeling during the exam. (Also, I ran out of time and didn't finish the last SIM.)

It's when there are attachments that contain key information (and some unneeded information) that you have to look at.

Thank you!! That is great news, very encouraging and much appreciated!
KGKGParticipantMO… thank you!! I plan on taking FAR last, but I'm already freaking out about it. I'm just covering government now and I hate it, LOL.
Thanks, again! (I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!)

Congratulations on passing FAR and AUD, and best of luck on REG and BEC!
KGKGParticipant“Only way I could panic less was to study more.”
I love this so much. I need to make this my signature tag!

KGKGParticipantCONGRATULATIONS!! Your post brought tears to my eyes! I'm an older candidate, too, just starting my journey (and my Dad is in the same age range as your's was).
Your post is an inspiration to me – thank you! 🙂
