81 in audit and i'm DONE!

REG - 78Always chose the road less traveled.To0ld2PassParticipantI did FAR, REG, AUD, BEC.I think it was a good order. I spent the most time studying for FAR but it was also the least stressful exam to me. REG was absolutely brutal in studying and exam. If I had left it to the end I would of flat given up. I was so burnt out by time I got to BEC that it was a struggle getting through it. AUD I left exam thinking I killed it and made a 68. Now i'm just leisure studying AUD instead of trying to smash them out as quick as possible.

By the end of the material i was just shooting for getting 2 right for every 1 wrong. Didn't do amazing on exam but I passed. Also didn't get hit with anything out of ordinary on exam so that was a plus.

If it says net receivables i would think it would be the current year receivables minus allowance for doubtful accounts plus prior year's divided by 2.
Avg Receivables = (Current Year Receivables + Prior Year Receivables)/2
Avg Net Receivables =((Current Year receivables – Current Doubtful accounts) + (Prior Year Receivables – Prior Doubtful)) / 2
Tried to write it out in formula, not sure if i succeeded 🙂

Choose the opposite. 🙂 That doesn't help but it's how i started to answer the questions and it worked. You would think a strong dollar would make for good business but it actually hinders.

REG - 78Always chose the road less traveled.To0ld2PassParticipantExam went well I think. In my MPQ I did not get very many hard calculations but a few basic ones. I would saying knowing all those forumals isn't really needed except there are some questions where you kind of have to back into some numbers. So if you don't know how the formula works then it would be hard to come up with the answer. Other than that the exam seemed pretty straight forward and none of the sims took me by surprise. So far the only exam where I thought I did good on was AUD and its the one i didn't pass 🙂 So not sure if this should be a good feeling or not! BEC was by far the worst one of the 4 to study for.

I read its a stressful test so I am preparing myself mentally for that. I didn't do any real studying today. Just glanced over some notes and formulas. Only exam so far where i left more stressed out than when i went in was REG. So hopefully it's not as bad.

I accepted a job at a pretty big firm and ran into the same thing and was worried. I contacted them and they just don't send anything back until they get all HR stuff worked out and it gets closer to your on boarding process.

It may depend on state laws though and not federal, I am not sure. Internally companies can code you as rehirable or not but the last job I had my manager told me that they could no longer tell the person calling if that was the case. Only list their title and employment dates. However, if you were fired for things like theft a company can report you to an agency that can be inquired.

Passed FAR and REG, but last exam I took was AUD and failed it. I'm so burnt out on studying and having a hard time with cost accounting atm. My mind just isn't wanting to take anything in, especially after not getting a pass on AUD.
Work starts Jan 9th and then into audit busy season. Maybe mind just needs a break!
