I passed BEC with a score of 80! I am so relieved. Grateful that Nasba released scores on Monday after 7pm. I was going crazy, checking my score Nonstop. Three down. One to go!

AlexParticipantHi @JimmyDugan,
I am sorry but I agree with @Adam. Without experience and ability to run the audit unsupervised you would be the reason why the audit takes longer to complete. The audit manager and seniors would either a) spend time to re-do your workpapers or b) spend time answering your questions or a and b. If you are happy with your job, I wouldn't recommend audit.

REG - 79AlexParticipantHello everyone! I’m getting ready to study for BEC and plan to take the test in December. Few questions for everyone: 1) is 5 to 6 weeks enough to study for BEC? 2) I plan on using Becker and supplement with Ninja( audio and flash cards). Is Becker enough for BEC? 3) what is everyone’s study method? How do you plan to prepare for BEC? And 4) can I take BEC before FAR? I haven’t taken FAR and am worried to see FAR questions in BEC.

AlexParticipantAlexParticipantHello! I am struggling in identifying the difference between contemporaneous exchange for new value and preferential payment. Can you give me few examples of Contemporaneous exchanges? Thank you!

I am a little disappointed though. I thought my score would be in the high 80s but I am NOT complaining. I passed and that is all that matters. I was worried that because I thought I did well, I was going to fail.
FYI – I studied with Ninja materials only for about 5 weeks. However, I do have some experience in audit. My advice to anyone studying for AUD, do NOT ignore SIMS.

AlexParticipantAlexParticipantHi everyone! I am about to start studying for REG and was wondering if I should pick Becker or Roger as my review course? I will use NINJA as well. I am looking for a course that will “teach” me tax since I don't have much experience with it. I believe that Ninja is great once you semi-know the concept. Which CPA course would you recommend for REG?

AlexParticipantTook AUD today. Hopefully, I did well (fingers crossed). I used only Ninja material to study.
Here are my thoughts:
Overall, I believe that time management is key! I rushed through MCQ (about 35 min for the first and second testlets). The extra time gave me a bit of a cushion with SIM questions. I finished the test 11 minutes before the clock ran out. I highly recommend for anyone studying for AUD to spend serious time on SIMS in their review course.
Also, I am contemplating to contact the AICPA Exams Team. One of the questions was not clear on instructions, at all! I wasn't sure if I was supposed to fill out the cell or leave it blank if it was correct. I read and reread the instructions during the test but couldn't figure out exactly what the test wanted me to do.
