Update on my previous post, I received the confirmation email that my experience, exams and licensure has been approved and it has been sent to the final review board. They said I should anticipate to receive my final license in the mail in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for your name to show up on the website at this point?

Does anyone know where the board is currently at with processing? Also does your name appear on the website as soon as they review it or is there a delay?

It seems like not alot of people applied for licensure during busy season. Is that why they are moving much quicker now through applications?

@Recked Thanks…taking that into consideration, my application was received by the board on February 28th, 2018. Is it safe to bet that the CPA Board will approve if it has already been technically reviewed? In other words, if my experience hours were not adequate then it would not have been sent to the board, right?

    Thank you!

Does anyone know if your experience requirements are looked at before your application is sent to the board? Just wondering if I might be a little short on hours…

So just completed the exam and sent in all the documentation on my part to NY state. I am still waiting on some of my experience to be sent in by some of my previous employers.

How does this process work? Can you check online somewhere the status of your application? What happens if they do not accept some of your previous experience? Sorry for the all questions but I'm knew to this lol

I would really spend a lot of time really understanding the concepts of audit. I failed my first time too and felt pretty comfortable with the material but didn't completely understand all of the different forms of testing and why it was done/when it was used. You really have to think like auditor!

Thank you @mtaylo24 and @mckan514w!! SO nice to hear back from you guys and I hope life is treating you well now.

Congrats to everyone who passed and if you didn't then keep grinding!! This test is more of a mental game than anything and as long as you can keep the bigger goal in mind, you'll get there (please take this from me).
