@Starved_Wolf – mine still says NTSissued. It's nothing I've ever really paid attention to tbh, but I'm sure it will update early next week since yesterday was a Friday.
Now that it's the next morning and the adrenaline rush/relief has ended I am allllllll anxiety! The fact that I don't have to worry about studying this weekend for any exam is so nice. It will make it that much more awful if I see a failing score on the 21st 🙁 I just want to pass and be done! I feel like I haven't really been living the past two years because I have been thinking about the exam. I want to start my life!
I was able to double/triple check all my MCQ's as well. I regret doing that and wished I would have just moved on with 2.5 hours for the SIMs cause I think it kind of burnt me out with re-reading the questions so many times. Feeling really bad that I messed up a couple ratios I absolutely knew by heart on the SIM's, and now I am thinking that I might have barely gotten half of each SIM right. ugh.
I am glad we all have each other to commiserate in our general anxiety and dread!

Tardis_WobbleParticipantI feel you – literally in the same position. I had a really rough start so I stopped telling people when I was taking exams or even passing them – Including my Partner! Did the exact same this morning. My alarm went off, he tried to reach over for a snuggle and I ninja-wriggled my way out of there and into the cold dreary morning.
I have passed every exam (KNOCKING ON WOOD AND EVERY OTHER SURFACE AHHHH) since I started doing this. Telling people when I was taking an exam, and then them asking if I passed, or how studying was going, or when my next test was or pointing out how long I had been studying was really an extra layer of pressure that ultimately messed me up a bunch. I started to try and pass for them instead of me, and that did me no favors!
My partner occasionally gets mildly upset, but I remind him that it's not about his feelings and it's about me getting my CPA. I don't feel bad about the “lies” and neither should anyone else in this position. You do you, people!
On that note, I HOPE YOU PASSED!!!!!

Tardis_WobbleParticipant@rb2017 – lol, I love everything about your post.
“the possibilities are endless”. I just want to be a free elf, someone hand me a sock!Sounds like everyone did reasonably well! And reasonably enjoying themselves.
@drh118 – I took my BEC retake with 9 days of study and surprisingly passed. Hoping you have the same experience! Not as extreme, but I took REG 3.5 weeks ago so I'm very much le tired.

Tardis_WobbleParticipant@Needsa75 – I think we had the same DRS. I had a little over 2 hours going into SIMs and I absolutely lost it once I started to realize what I was expected to do for the DRS.
I would definitely classify it as “unreasonable” because searching for the information in this would have taken the most experienced auditor an hour. The rest were pretty okay – I definitely miscalculated one like a fool, but I felt like 4/7 were FAR SIMs.
Actually looking at your experience we might have just had the exam same test. Agree with the bipolar MCQ!
Ugh. I don't know how to enjoy the next 11 days! I just want to be done!

Tardis_WobbleParticipantThat's my center too! I started my exam about an hour late because it was so packed. I also was put in a different lobby that I didn't know existed.
Really hope I never have to go back there. Some of those ladies are not nice 🙁
And I mean I don't want to take another exam again haha

I've got less than 48 hours and I'm going back and forth with what I should be looking at. I'm getting pretty burnt out and both want Friday to be here but at the same time want more study time.

Tardis_WobbleParticipant@scared_cpa – those stats look great! How did the SIMs go for you today? I find that they really help solidify my understanding with the material, even if I don't get a similar one on the exam. I worked through the Internal Control Transactions cycle today and yikes -_- lol. Definitely putting in some extra time there before my exam Friday.
Good luck tomorrow. let us know how it goes!

Tardis_WobbleParticipantMy time for judgement with AUD will be this Friday. Do you think the SIMs were more insane than REGs? 4 hour exams are no joke (FAR was exhausting start to finish), and though I haven't taken aud, if you think the second and third testlets were harder and you got at least one SIM down you are probably in the clear! At least this has been my experience for both REG and FAR. The topic has been beaten to death but seriously trying to understand the grading behind these exams is the equivalent to trying to decipher a deeper meaning behind someone's drawing of a hand turkey.
How much did you practice the SIM's? I have gone through Wiley's once now and they definitely saved my a$$ on REG, but am wondering if I should step it up based on your experience.

Tardis_WobbleParticipantHey there – first of all that cat is really cute.
Second of all – It took me 13 months and 4 failed exams to pass my first one. I also no-showed one in there as well, so we can place that at 5. My battle map looks not to different from yours: FAR – 65, BEC – No show, FAR – 71, FAR – 68 (blew off studying whoops), BEC – 71, FAR – 76!!!
I felt awful about myself the entire time. But I think Meg's signature has the quote that kept me going – “No one ever fails the CPA exam, there are those that just give up”. Don't give up and you won't fail.
Now all I have left is one exam. If I can do it, you can definitely do it. Practice those SIMs! They are the worst, I know. But they really solidify the concepts, and I didn't pass until I practiced them. REG was the only exam I passed on the first try, and I attribute that to studying the SIMs.
You are closer. and you will get the next one! You just need to find the best study strategy for you.
