NINJA CPA Review
Joshua is a weekly NINJA CPA Blogger. Hello Ninjas! For me it has come to the home stretch of studying for FAR, just under 2 weeks to go. I want to present you with a correlation of running a race and studying for the exam. I enjoying running, well I use the word enjoy as in I enjoy the benefits of running, maybe not so much the act of running. I have run several 5ks, 10ks, and even a half-marathon. What I have learned from training for those runs can defiantly help me in my and your studying. Let me share. When training for the half-marathon, being in physical shape to run is important but being in mental shape is even more important. Once you can run several miles, running 13.1 is not so much a struggle of the physical nature, but one mentally, where you got to want it.
Mark is a weekly NINJA CPA Blogger. I hit a wall last week, and for the first time I really feel like I have no motivation to continue. I put all my energy into REG this window and I think Im still drained from that battle. Although I knew it would be a quick turnaround, I had to schedule FAR in May or my NTS would expire. So as it sits right now, I have FAR in 5 weeks and Ive barely cracked the book. I started the week by attempting to rewatch all the Becker lectures, but I quickly decided that is not the most efficient way of studying this late in the game. I stressed myself out so much that I even tried to change my exam date, but for some reason the Prometric website would not let me. After my failed attempt to change the date on the Prometric website, I spoke to someone at the Prometric center; she unfortunately could not change my exam date, either. She advised that I contact NASBA, so I decided to take my unchanging exam date as a sign that I need to just buckle down and forge ahead with my studies. The problem is finding
Natasha is a weekly NINJA CPA Blogger. Hope everyone has had a great week! Studying where do I begin? I purchased my first home last September so this is my first spring in my new home. Needless to say, with the weather being so nice I want to be outside, doing things in the yard and taking my dog for walks. This past week was hard to study, and I know its not going to get any better. My motivation: I feel like I am learning this stuff more and more. When I am not failing all my practice tests I have motivation to study. I am starting to feel better than I ever have in the areas that have previously been the hardest for me. This gives me time to focus on other areas. My goal: Complete all lectures and Wiley MCQs this week. Continue to listen to the NINJA
