It took me some time to get up the courage to schedule, but after a weekend and early week filled with study time, I finally felt I was ready. Last week I had to take a step back and reevaluate my approach to studying. I was doing it, but not with the drive I felt necessary to get ready to re-attack Audit. I decided that my morning workouts, as much as they benefit my sanity, would have to be put on hold, as it was time to try the ELL Plan. I started Monday. I was at work by 6:30, but got a bit distracted by coworkers. I got in at the same time Tuesday, but opted to shut my door for focus sake. ? Having that additional hour and a half
Ashley is a weekly NINJA CPA Blogger. Hi everyone! I had a mini meltdown this weekend while I was working on Wiley MCQs. LOL. I was tired and kind of frustrated and all I kept thinking was, why oh why I didnt listen to everyone that encouraged me to sit for the CPA after graduation? I guess we live and we learn, usually the hard way. I graduated from The Fort Valley State University (Go Wildcats!), and it will be 5 years ago May 5th. So getting back in the groove of studying has been difficult. Not to mention, I remember learning a lot of this information in my undergraduate accounting courses, but over time the concepts begin to seem foreign. Then afterwards I go and rewrite my NINJA Notes for that concept, then rework those questions. This way I am able to focus my attention where it is needed, instead of feeling content. I have just started implementing this method this
Hi everyone!!! Exam day is getting closer, REG on 4/29 I have spent the last week working Wiley MCQs. My personal goal is 100-150 MCQs per day. In addition to that, I have been listening to NINJA Audio and reading my notes during the day. Monday through Thursday, I am going for 3 to 4 hours, Saturdays 6 and Sunday 4. I have now mastered approximately 70% of the material, 30% more to go. My problem or main issues are with all the details that this exam has. My scores on MCQs are so unpredictable from low 70s thru mid 80s :/. Thankfully, I have a little more than a week to go. This week I wanted to show you the 2 artists that I have on my iPhone: Adele and Jeffrey Elliott. LOL. You can tell that I am not into music, or I might have being studying
