I am at the stage of taking NTS for BEC exam after the failure of first exam of FAR.

Should i take NTS for FAR with the BEC? My instinct says that i should go for Audit after BEC…

Currently i am scared of FAR (got defeated by very low score). But the very next thought comes in my mind that FAR material is fresh in my mind so i should go for it after BEC.

    Guys need suggestions..

Rhea, I understand how you feel for FAR. It was my first test too and scored miserably. I consider my first attempt as a simple trial and huge error on my part, my big fault. I read the 10 chapters and answered HWs, then sat without adequate amount of time to review. (Considering I was out of college for 22 years.)

My bigger mistake is lining up next part (AUD) without any contingent plan (what if I don't pass FAR). In other words, FAR had to be set aside. It took me 13 months later to retake FAR so I had to literally start from scratch again.

Yes FAR is really overwhelming. I am surprised I was able to score 73 on my retake despite my shortcomings and lack of self-discipline. My score for final practice test [20 hours before the actual test] was 44% only. The result that was supposed to discourage me that day made me 101% determined to face the FAR test I had no other option. My NTS expires after Feb. 2014.,

I guess what I am trying to tell you is this. Finish FAR now since you just started it. Don't let go of it until you pass it, then move on to the next part. Or unless it's your 5th consecutive attempt, then that's another story.

    P.S.

Since my clock is ticking already, I will be taking FAR every quarter until I pass it (4 windows till Q1-2015). I really hope I pass the next test, oh please God!

My REG classes are already lined up for May though.
