As in a full scholarship or tuition remission? Not including books.

I was able to get everything paid for through scholarships and grants. Each semester I even received a refund. All in all I made quite a bit off of my University.

My dad worked at this company for 10 years when I was small. He then went on to become a police officer. My junior year of college, I found out that the company he worked for when I was a kid had a scholarship fund for the children of employees who put in at least 10 years. It covered 100% of state schools or 75% of private. Also covered 100% for books. It was a pretty sweet deal. No student loans for me.

I went on the GI Bill. For undergrad, I took advantage of a tuition waiver in CT and used the GI Bill money to pay for the fees. For MBA, the new GI Bill paid for everything and gave me a monthly allowance.

full tuition remission at a 50k/year private school, feels good

unfortunately, graduate school tuition remission is a taxable benefit. it's going to be around $15,000 in taxes to go to grad school. it's slightly cheaper than the other MAcc program I could go to, though…

Yep. Tuition waiver to a state school and an academic scholarship that covered everything else. They even threw in a stipend to study abroad. Then I decided to change careers and moved into accounting. Two years later I had a master's degree left me with 60k in student loans.

Because I'm a veteran, the Post 9/11 GI bill paid for all of my tuition for both my undergrad and MBA, all books, and a monthly living stipend. It's also paid for my CPA exam. People earn the post 9/11 when they go to the desert and get shot at for 3 years. I have $0 debt.
