So this is my very first post but i read this blog like its the daily news. I have taken Audit 4 times (67, 71,72,72). The last time was July 19th. The score notification ranked me strong in all areas except for simulations. I have been struggling with this exam for 4 years and I have NOT passed 1 part! I am really growing weary. Does anyone have any suggestions????

But to answer your question, I would take AUD after mastering FAR. A lot of the sims are FAR-related or at least conceptually similar. Hope that helps.

I second the “take FAR first” suggestion above. I took AUD almost immediately after taking FAR and it really helped. The simulations were a walk in the park due to having taken FAR. Aside from the AUD specific technicalities such as order of paragraphs, I went through most of the material in Becker fairly quick thanks to the FAR knowledge.

The combination of having taken FAR and listening to the Ninja Audio was solid. I can't stress enough how helpful the Ninja Audio was for my AUD exam.

@meenCPA try using the authoritative literature to double check your answers. This is also available to you during the exam. It should help. Remember that the literature is there not just for the research questions! Best of luck. Keep at it, you can do it!

I have the same question. And I have taken all the other exams and I still can't seem to understand these simulations. I just got my diagnostics and I got stronger on 3 and comparable on 3 but apparently my SIMS destroyed me (scored a 71). I have taken it 3 times and the SIMS get me everytime. How else can I prepare for them?

I 100% believe that the NINJA test bank is what helped me pull through on AUD. I always scored weaker on the SIMs, so I feel your pain! I made sure I did every single SIM in the NINJA (and Becker) bank. I printed my score report, and re-did ones that I didn't “pass” (I think I set my threshold at 60, just based on time restrictions). This really helped me change my though process and practice using the AL. I found several SIM answers in the AL on exam day.

A - 67, 64, 92!!
R - 61, 75!
B - 80!
F - 68, 78!! DONE!
