Hi guys,

I am taking FAR on May 28.

I am done with all chapters lectures, MCQ, and sims, except for chapter 10 (Becker). For some reason, I could not progress well in the MCQ for some sections in chapter 10 (notes receivable/payable and estimated and accrued liabilities in particular). So, I figured, I’ll skip chapter 10 and go through final review for chapters 1-9 and then return to chapter 10 because chapter 10 includes random topics that are somehow related conceptually to previous chapters, so info will be fresh when I go through its MCQ.

Is 7 days enough for final review? I’ve been scoring passing scores in all homework MCQs, and I think I did well on sims. I purchased the final review course (about $250).. Can I do this product in like 1 or 2 days?

AND I am not sure I’ll have time to take one of the final exams provided by Becker. Is it worth it? I heard it’s too hard. Please advise.

I just started my final review by reviewing all flashcards for chapter 1. It was easy to remember the concepts and the major areas.

I purchased the final review as well. It is very short you can get in done in 2 days easily! And take a Becker final review test it helps you know where you're at. Everyone is scared of FAR dont worry!

If you are receiving passing scores on the MCQ's of all the chapters you are golden. I think both FAR practice exams for Becker are pretty similar in difficulty (I scored the same on both). I wouldn't worry too much about your scores on those though. Most candidates do substantially better on the actual exam than the Becker practice exams.

Didn't do any practice exams for Becker. Didn't have a final review on my FAR pass and didn't get to doing the MCQ for F10..just watched half of the lecture and got bored on the IFRS recap section. You'll be fine and 7 days is a ton of time. Final review isn't worth it for Becker..you'll find that you already know every thing..I guess that's why it's a “review”, but not worth it because you'll already know every thing 🙂

I wasn't using Becker, but I had a complete melt down about 2 weeks out from taking FAR. It was the best thing to happen to me.

Didn't realize it, but I used the panic to get me focused. Take that drive you have right now and turn it into the best 2 weeks of studying you've had so far. You got this!

Thank you guys… I returned the final review and I will get a refund…

I will go over flashcards and take the first final practice test and see what my weak areas are… Then I'll focus on those in the next 7 or 6 days….. Then I'll take the other final practice exam to see how I do…

I will try to be confident… but as exam approaches, I feel like I'm losing motivation… I'll try to keep focused!

Another85- You got to keep calm and use these last week and a half to review, review, and review. I have AUD on the same date and have gone over all the materials already, yet I have been continuously reviewing the materials all over again but mostly working on the SIMS. Somehow you have to keep motivated. You want to put it in this perspective. Every day you review till test time increases your chances of passing FAR.
