Peetree – another "technical" Becker question!

I asked this in an earlier thread but I’m not sure you saw it: Is there any way to speed up the Becker lectures? I can access them both in the downloaded version and online. Any help will be much appreciated.

BTW, I’m renaming you Mr. Technology!

What media player do you use to watch them? Or does Becker have a media player that you have to use? (Like, does Windows Media Player pop up when you stick in the DVD, or do you have to run a special Becker program?) Most media players have an option to increase the playback speed – for example, here's directions for Windows Media Player: https://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/change-playback-speed-in-windows-media-player So if you're using a non-Becker program, I might be able to help, but if it's Becker-specific, I'm useless. 😉

@Lilla – I am a technical moron, so I hope I answer your question correctly… When I enrolled in Becker I logged onto their site and “installed” the program on my laptop. Now when I go in there I simply click on the desktop icon. Does that answer what your're asking… ?

And thank you BTW for your assistance!

Edited to add: I can also view the lectures on-line by logging onto the site with my user name and password.

Hmm yes that probably means that this is up to Peetree. 😉 I don't use Becker, so my help is only within the realm of normal audio recording things! I looked up some screenshots and it looks like Becker's program is completely separate from other media players…so I'm useless lol.

Now we just hope that Peetree sees this soon. 😉

@ljrpr – I'm so sorry, I don't have my book with me at work right now, but I can look for you when I get home if no one else has answered by then.

Hey guys. My earlier post in the thread regarding how to get around Becker's weird printing rules looks to be gone so I'm probably going to tread lightly and not disclose any other creative means with getting at the content.

@ljrpr Derivatives and hedging is in Chapter 10 in Becker. Translation and remeasurement is in Chapter 3 I think

    No problem man.

In my opinion, just watch the videos in the normal speed. They will at least help you to slow down and focus on the content.
