I know there’s different suggestions regarding whether or not to leave blanks on SIMS or fill boxes in with 0’s.

Can anybody comment on this with any confidence or certainty as to how to handle this situation in the exam? Specifically AUD.

    AUD - 78
    BEC - 82
    REG - 77

    2 Corinthians 5:21

Our value does not come from our skills and abilities, as good as they may be; it does not come from our GPA, our job, a promotion from that job to a better job, our success on the CPA exam, or anything of the like; but our value comes from the fact that we have a Creator who loves us, cares for us, and desires to help us navigate the rough waters of this life in a way that provides security, hope, and true, everlasting joy while we anticipate the life to come, with Him.

Um, answer them. If the answer happens to be a zero and you filled in a zero, you'll get it right. If you leave it blank, you'll get it wrong. Realistically, though, it wont make a difference in your score (maybe a point, and only if one happens to have a zero answer, which is really unlikely).

Pay very close attention to what the instructions say. Some will tell you specifically to enter zeros and/or to select “no entry required.” In those cases, you should absolutely enter the zeros.

Same goes for drop-down menus when you're running out of time. If your exam is about to time out and you've got Sims left, go through and randomly pick some options from the drop-downs. Don't just leave them blank.

I had one on FAR with a journal entry and it said leave entry blank if no entry is needed. I realized after I had entered a choice from the drop down that no entry was needed. Unfortunately unlike some of the sims there wasn't the “no entry needed” option so I lost some credit there, fortunately it didn't matter because I passed. My point is be careful reading what the directions say and be confident in your answer before submitting it.
