Check out local community colleges. As long as you have your core material dialed down, you should be able to take whatever you want. I was in a similar situation to yourself (needed extra credits, but not enough to merit getting a MAcc). That is what I did.

If possible, try to get the state to take a look at your education to date to see if there is anything specific that you need. It would be a bummer to get up to 150 and realize that you need one more in Accounting/Tax/Econ/whatever.

Haven't started yet so I'm not sure of the difficulty level but here's what I'm doing:

    REG: 78 (5/31/2013)
    AUD: 59 (8/31/2013); 81 (10/8/2013)
    BEC: 80 (12/5/2013)
    FAR: 2/28/2014

I only had 10 additional units so I took 100% online classes through my local community college

how long did it take for you to get the 20 units Accrual?

    FAR - 81
    REG - 74, 87
    AUD - 88
    BEC - 88

    Finally.

My husband is doing a master's through Southern New Hampshire U online. They're short sessions and it's not terribly expensive (though still significantly more than a community college)

It depends on whether you need the upper level accounting and/or business courses or just need the hours.

    REG - PASSED! 8/8/14 (81)
    FAR - PASSED! 11/24/14 (87)
    AUD - PASSED! 1/9/15 (87)
    BEC - 2/17/15

kappa1032 – Since it was only 10 units, I did it while I was in college. I took 3 classes (2 three unit courses & 1 four unit course) total. 1 each semester for 2 semesters and then 1 over summer. I was already taking a full course load of 18 units at my regular college so 1 additional class from the community college was all I could handle

@anas sakka amini: I too have 128 credits and finished my exam. If your state does allow duplicate courses, you may use the option below.

I decided to go for Masters rather than taking any courses. City University of New York started an online masters program in Business Management and leadership.
