Hello. I have 2 weeks10 to study for a FAR retake. I scored 73 (bummer) the first time around last October. I have CPA Excel, Ninja Notes, Ninja Flashcards and Wiley Test Bank at my disposal. I’m currently not working so I have full time to dedicate to studying. I would appreciate any advice regarding a study strategy for this short amount of prep time. Thanks!

Re write Ninja notes to wrap up the material u already learned(and memorize materials as you go) and do WTB all day everyday?! I'm taking far too and it's hard because there are just toooooo many topics to master. Two weeks seems kinda tough but with ur previous 73, u can do it!!!!

No. I moved onto AUD (sat for AUD in January) and am now studying for BEC (sit for BEC in 1 week). Then back to FAR.

Not going to lie, 2 weeks isn't a whole lot of time retake or first time. I would think non stop MCQ is the way to go. Even for retakes i have always given myself at least 4 weeks.

    Good luck!

    A - 61, 91!!
    B - 78!
    F - 76!!!
    R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!

    Finally done!

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

That's pretty ambitious. My advice would be to move your FAR exam to the very end of the window, if it's not there already. Other than that, rewrite your notes, hit the areas you're weak in and do a lot of progress tests.

    Good Luck!

    REG - 80 (2/28/13)
    AUD - 68 (5/24/13), 84 (7/11/13)
    BEC - 83 (8/29/13)
    FAR - 70 (12/04/13) 80 (2/10/14)

Study Govt, NFP, IFRS and the ones you were weaker on when you got your 73 results.

    Licensed Florida CPA:
    B: 71, 73, 79
    A: 83
    R: 78 (expired), 77
    F: 74, 74, 80

    It's finally freaking over.
