2010 vs 2011 Becker

    What the the differences in the 2010 vs 2011 Becker CPA reviews for Regulation??? I purchased Becker in July and just realized that I have the 2010 version instead of the late 2011 version.

    Well, besides the major change in the exam (e.g. No written portion, 7 tb sims), tax laws are constantly being evaluated and changed according to current policy implementations. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the change in Section 179 bonus depreciation, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were several other major differences. Basically, I wouldn't recommend risking it; you just have to evaluate if purchasing the 2011 version exceeds your own cost/benefit constraints.

    You can go to the Becker site and get all the updates, there are a lot of updated pages for REG

    pinkpink is right about becker posting updates, but they reference the 2011 text so it might be difficult to correlate the 2010 text.
