Am I the only one wondering why people think score release is TODAY?

Why would score release be today, on the 6th, when the AICPA specifically states that the Target Score Release Date is DECEMBER 9th, not the 6th. The only reason I could think of why people think it is today is because the chart reads “6 business days following the cut-off receipt date” with the cut-off date being December 1st. But, if you do the math correctly, six business days after the cut-off date is DECEMBER 9TH.

    1- Monday, December 2

    2 – Tuesday, December 3

    3- Wednesday, December 4

    4- Thursday, December 5

    5 – Friday, December 6

And the next business day would be Monday, December 9th, SIX DAYS AFTER CUT OFF.

So can someone please explain why people think it is today??

Because the top-secret formula is official date minus 1 business day.

Could it be wrong? Yes – absolutely.

Has it been wrong in awhile? No.

They usually release the business day before the date given by the AICPA. That is how is has been for all of my tests at least =) Good Luck!

    AUD – Passed

    FAR – Passed

    BEC- Passed

    REG – November 22

@005, I believe it's the 20th (so probably the 19th) for the extention. That's exactly why I powered through and kept my 25th test date.

    And the great adventure begins...

    FAR- 82 (5/2013)
    REG- 83 (8/2013)
    BEC- TBD
    AUD- 85 (11/2013)
