It’s my first section that I plan to take. I just received the NTS last week and want to sit at the end of February. I only put in about 15 hours a week studying and i feel pretty unprepared. on R4 with Becker. Starting to wonder if REG was the right test to start with.

Anyone in the area to help keep me in line and study with me?

Not in Ft. Lauderdale, but in Gainesville and yes I am dreading everyday. Dreading only because I failed so miserably last go around and I am just letting it get to me at this point. I am working like a mad-man. Studying 20 hours plus a week and taking annual leave to stay on my scheduled date. This go around however is on completely different terms: Much more effort. Back in October I was coming off a 3 in a row pass with AUD, BEC, and FAR and I was over confident and cavalier to say the least.Going into REG the last go around I significantly deviated from my study habits used in passing the other parts. First warning sign: I was studying in the living room and not in the peace and quiet of my office. Second warning sign: I was tracking hours and # of questions, however this process became arbitrary in nature and simply a “go through the motions” approach. Think quality versus quantity. Come test day I sat there just clicking and clicking. I was in denial of a major failure until scores posted on 11/21. In the end I had to take a breather, clear my mind and reset to beat REG with a clear strategy for success. I will be re-taking 2/28. Good luck to all.

    FAR - Passed May 2012
    AUD - Passed July 2012
    BEC - Passed August 2012
REG - Passed March 2013 I'm outta here. CPA Bound for State of Florida.
