Applying for three sections

Hey guys, I applied and passed REG in August, but I was wondering if applying for all other three sections at once (to save on application fee) would be a bad idea? I don’t mean I will be taking them all in one window, but just apply so I can schedule them. I plan on taking FAR during end of November, AUD begining of January, and BEC mid February. However, let’s say I fail one or two tries and end up pushing back AUD and BEC back. I think I heard there’s like a time limit, as in you have to take the exams you apply for within 6 months? Which means I can only register for exams til beginning of March, if I apply now. Anyone know the specific rules for this? Sorry about the long explanation…P.S. I live in WA

Yeah, in most states, you have 6 months on your NTS. Any section for which you registered must be taken in that six-month window starting when you receive your NTS; otherwise, your fees are forfeited and you have to apply again.

Assuming Washington doesn't have some weird different rules, your logic is right. You would have until March to sit for your three exams.

It's your call. I split my NTSes into two groups of two because I didn't want to deal with the stress of re-scheduling and re-taking an exam had I failed. I was afraid of, for example, scheduling all four exams at once, failing FAR, and then sitting for it again in the next window along with the other three exams. Would have saved me some money since I did pass everything on the first go, but it really comes down to how much risk you wanna take on.

    FAR: May 1st, 2014 - 91
    AUD: May 29th, 2014 - 97!
    BEC: July 16th, 2014 - 91
    REG: August 29th, 2014 - 88

Good thing I asked here before I went ahead and dropped $660! Okay, then I guess it would be safer to apply just for two then. Thank you so much! and btw congrats on passing all four!
