Cant postpone it. I dont know how I am going to study for BEC now. This is unbelievable. Any advice please?

I was hoping to pass to boost my confidence….I havent passed any yet in 2012. This is a shitty day. ((((((

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I kept sticking with Audi until i passed it (3 tries this year) and my 2nd attempt was a 73 or 72.

But you are close. SOOO close. Don't give up.

    AUD: 8/17/2012
    REG: 4/29/2013
    BEC: 7/8/2013
    FAR: 1/16/2014

I failed Audit with 74 on 10/13. This really stinks. My score report said I was “weaker” in four areas of MCQ. And I scored stronger on two of those the first time when I scored 63.

I was rated “stronger” on the SIMS and one area of MCQ. I take reg on Monday. Keep your chin up.

    B: 77 (LC), 75
    A: 63,74,88
    R: 60,67,80
    F: 71,74,74 again, and 86 - DONE!

    Ethics and application - done.

Here are my AUD scores in order: 54,72,59,73. I just recently got that 73. Got stronger in 4 areas, comparable in 1 area, weaker in 1 area, and weaker in sims. I really thought I had passed this time around. I studied harder and smarter, so I had thought, but I did not put enough time into studying for sims. I have always gotten weaker in sims. I have used Becker, which is great for multiple choice, but isn't the best for sims, imo. I am going to use Becker and Wiley (for sims), study Becker flashcards (never really have before), review my weaker/comparable areas in greater depth, and study everything all together. I feel your pain. It's so frustrating and studying for these exams can be very tiring. I've decided to give AUD one more try, in January. I haven't passed one section yet and I've taken AUD 4 times and BEC 2 times (73,68). I don't have my scores in my signature anymore because it just makes me feel defeated and I also feel embarrassed. A 73 for your first time taking AUD is pretty impressive. You clearly understand the material. You can do this. Don't give up. I want to give up so badly, but I won't, yet.

    FAR - 76
    AUD - 88!!! DONE!!!!!!!!
    BEC - 76
    REG - 77

    never, never, never give up

My AUD scores are 71(2010), 74,74(Jul & Nov 12). It is really frustrating. Even I felt last 2 times i would pass but I didn't. Don't know where it's going wrong. I am planning to study the material hard. Work more MCQ's. I will become CPA if I slay this beast in Jan 13. Any tips to prepare are welcome.

    BEC: 77(Nov 2010), 81(Jul 2012).
    FAR: 80(Jul 2012).
    REG: 72(Jul 2012), 78(Oct 2012).
    AUD: 71(Nov 2010),74(Jul 2012),74(Oct 2012),75(Jan 2013)- Thanks God, without you i couldnt have done this. I'M DONE !!!

I took AUD on 10/13 and also got a 73. I walked out thinking I had passed. I was stronger on the SIMS and weaker on nearly every area of the MCQ.

I'm taking BEC on the 17th and totally freaking out.

    FAR 78
    AUD 85
    BEC 79
    REG 83

Keep you chin up. This test is meant to test your mental endurance and desire to succeed. The only thing standing in-between eventually passing and not is that inner voice that will lie to you and tell you that you can't do it. You can, I promise.

With that said, what did your score report say?

    FAR - 83
    BEC - 85
    AUD - 86
    REG - 77

Thanks Everyone for the encouraging words…When I saw the score, I was really down but now I am ready to take it on next month after I take BEC. Somehow, I liked AUD, Did not think it will be this tricky in exam. I am going to add Wiley questions too + Becker and Ninja notes.

@primgirl, this exam is so weird, anything is possible. Compare yours to mine..

    Understanding the Engagement (12-16%) Comparable

    Understanding the Entity (16-20%) Weaker

    Procedures and Evidence(16-20%) Weaker

    Evaluation and Reporting(16-20%) Comparable

    Accounting and Review Services(12-16%) Stronger

    Professional Responsibilities(16-20%) Stronger

    Multiple Choice (60%) Weaker

    Simulations (40%) Comparable

It doesn't matter now, as I will be studying everything again. Off to BEC…(

I too received a 73 on AUD. It was my third attempt. Stronger in two of the MCQ areas but weaker overall in MCQ and comparable in SIMS. I felt more confident than ever as I walked out of Prometric. My BEC credit is gone, so I'll need to retake that. I'll also need to take FAR again as I'm pretty sure I failed my last attempt. This exam is so brutal and expensive to fail at. I feel like an idiot. It's painful to see how some people pass all four exams on their first try. I'm confident that I'm smart enough to pass these exams, but I'm not doing something right. I'm not sure if I should look at another course provider but the thought of sitting through the same video lectures again makes me want to cry.

Passed: R-F-B-A - Persistence is the key to passing.
