I got 74 on audit last time. I used Gleim and Ninja Mcq. This time I’m only using ninja Mcq as my Gleim subscription ran out. On my score report I was stronger in mcq and weaker in sims. Any advice out there. Should I do each ninja sim a few times? I’ve got a little over 6 weeks till the test so I’m trying to come up with a winning strategy. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank You

Ajaz0810, you should try Roger's cram. I think he is the best professor for Audit. How did you go down from 66 to 55? You did not restudy after the first exam?

    On my 2nd try I got a 55. 3rd try I got a 74. I was too excited after I found out I passed far I didn't study hard for the 2nd attempt.

It was really weird that the first time I took aud my score report said stronger in SIMs and weaker on mcq. The last time I was stronger in mcq and weaker in SIMs. It's so frustrating, I'm using ninja mcq. Should I just crank out mcqs and sims in ninja? Has anybody rewrote the audit reports? I have a very good feeling there is going to be a question on the audit reports. Thanks everyone.

It took me a few times to pass AUD, and I was like you… scoring stronger in MCQ, but weaker in sims. Audit is no joke — they really want you to nail those sims. It easy to become proficient on the multiple choice — I honestly think you should practice several sims. I used Wiley Test Bank back when I passed, but I believe Ninja should be good. Sure, you can familiarize yourself with the concepts so that the sims won't be a pain, but I do think the sim practice will help push you over the edge. You'll pass it, don't worry! 🙂

    AUD: Pass (WTB)
    BEC: Pass (Ninja/Becker)
    REG: Pass (WTB)
    FAR: Pass!!! (Becker/WTB/Ninja)

DONE!! 🙂 It's SO nice to be able to finally write this. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!

@ Ajaz0810, try Yaeger cram. It's only 7 hours lecture, still covers enough to prepare you. I was doing pretty good on Ninja MCQ after the Yaeger cram (85 trending/80 overall avg); bare in mind I had done 1500 Wiley bank questions prior to Ninja. Wish I had my score to back this up (will find out in a few days). The most important thing is that you really do understand the underlying concept so don't just answer each question but think about what it is asking then answer even if you know the answer.

    GL man.

If I can do it, you can do it too!

How could Gleim expire? If you fail they have a lifetime guarantee. I sent them my score report to get continued access.

My 18 months was up on May 6th. I logged on and I do not see anything that allows me to continue. I probably should call to see if I get can keep getting access but I never liked talking to the personal counsellors. I like the ninja test bank so I figured I'd use that this time.

Although you were stronger in MCQ, definitely don't lose focus of that area. Also make sure you are using the AL during the sims to your fullest advantage. Sometimes you can find entire answers for sims in those, I remember I got 3 sims including research (duh) right because of AL.

Drop Becker and go with CPA excel, CPA excel will never expire and cost less than a Becker renewal. Supplement with NINJA MCQ for the sole reason of its “adaptive learning”

NINJA MCQ will give you questions you are not good at more often. The hardest thing to do is study materials you are not good at, this forces your hand.
