    Hey guys,

So after failing twice I decided to clear my head and took a few months off and now I’m ready to jump back in a pass this time around. I’ve decided I’m going to start with AUD. I’ve taken it twice and have failed both times but I feel like I can’t move on until I get this one. It’s like a personal thing now….. My question is, what’s the best way to study for this? I don’t feel I need to waste time watching the videos but what should I do first, just take a week or two and read through the entire book and take notes and then review and do MCQ? I feel I’ve failed both time due to the SIMS since I was stronger in 4 of the 6 sections and only weak in 1. I just don’t know how to prepare for the SIMS as they can be anything…. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

    Here we go Again

    AUD: (65)(66) 77
REG: (66) (48) destroyed me mentally.....
    FAR: (68) (66)(69)(71)
    BEC: (63) 75

I would get a baseline understanding through the book review then work all the MCQ's from your chosen testbank, take extensive notes. At this point you wil have identified your weak areas so you need to hone in on those, the testbank will allow you to select targeted areas for studying.

I personally didn't study the TBS as I feel everything you would need to know on those will shake out during the book review and MCQ's, but everyone has a different opinion on this – it certainly isn't going to hurt you to study them.

I understand wanting to tackle AUD again, but if it's the sims that are giving you trouble, you may want to take FAR first. AUD sims aren't really FAR sims like some people say, but the reacquaintance with journal entries that you get from FAR may be just what you need to get you over the AUD hump.

If you really want to beat AUD first, then study lots of FAR JEs and ratios. Think about them from an auditor's perspective– what would an auditor need to look for and correct, such as if revenue is overstated, and what other accounts might that affect? Things like that.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

Falling back to do FAR first would be beneficial, then moving back to conquer your enemy.

    REG- (1) 76
    FAR- (2) 64, (5)74, (7)83 (Over achiever!)
    AUD- (3) 70, (4) 75
    BEC- (6) 75
