    Hi

I’m currently study for the BEC and my exam date is on April.

It took me 2 weeks studying only 1 chapter and spent over 50 hours on it. I’ve

been out of school for more than 10 years and this is my 1st section

I feel overwhelming because I forgot most of the materials I learned

In college. I feel like I’ve to start at the beginning and learn all the basic concepts again. Can someone please let me know if you are on the same boat? I use Becker and I got 80% on the homework problems for the first chapter. I don’t know 80% is good enough or not because I think Becker said to be able to pass the actual exam you must get 90% on the homework problems.

    Thanks

That's pretty good to start. I don't use Becker but I'm sure that's a good start. Just keep with it and make sure you make a study schedule and stick to it. It only makes sense that the material is going to take longer to study the longer you've been away from it, but there are contributors on this forum that have been away longer than you and have passed. You can do this, it will take a lot of work and will seem intimidating but the more you study and the more questions you tackle you will begin growing confidence. Every section I start studying for seems like a giant undertaking too. Keep at it!
