    @jonm857 – my first answer was the same as yours. this is a tricky question to me. The correct answer is 1,500usd.

    Hey guys, just wondering if anybody else using the Ninja book? I'm having a real hard time to go through the material in the book as English is not my first language and I thought that the notes were enough to pass. The book seems to have a lot more material and some of it is pretty in depth.

    It's coming along well for BEC for me. I am aiming to sit on 4/20. I have just started a new job two weeks ago. I felt so blessed to have finally found a great employer after so many years of job searching. I got a 2-week vacation in 2015. I am not sure if asking for a day-off within my first 45 days is too much to ask. However, it would be very nice to have two straight days off before my test date.

    English is not my first language either so the writing portion of this CPA requirement is my least favorite. It's probably easier for me to score 80% with MCQ than score (at least) 10% with WC. So my plan is just to hammer as much MCQs as I can.

    @amor I think 2 days is not too much to ask, but at the end of the day it all depends on your employer. I wish you get those two days off and cram as much as you can. By the way, from the way you write on the forum, it doesn't seem like you should have any problem with WC. I think you just need to practice a little bit and you'll do great.

    @ amor and zubairs, English is not my firs language either. I took BEC twice, got 73 first time and 74 second time. I went from weak in writing to comparable on the second exam. I am scheduled for this coming Friday, April 3rd and hope to pass the test!!! I did not have time to finish the essays on my first exam and got better on the 2nd one but did not get enough to get a 75!!! All I can say is keep trying!!! We can do it!!!

    hard work and dedication is all it takes to pass the CPA Exam!!! I've been giving up a lot of precious and valuable time with my family. I just pray that GOD gives me the strength to keep going and pass my exam Friday!!

    Do you have the feeling that the MCQ in the Ninja software are way more complicated than the ones in BECKER?

    @aguspesci78 YES! so much harder than Becker for sure. After i take MCQ with Ninja i feel like i dont know anything!

    @positive07 Thank you! I am taking BEC this Friday and I want to say that I am ready but after I am done with the a MCQ session with the NINJA software I completely changed my mind 🙁

    For BEC, I have heard the lecture, read the book and did the MCQ once (using Becker).

    For revision, I am planning to read the book and do the MCQs.

    Is it worthwhile to re-read the book or should I utilize that time to do more MCQs?

    Also, in the actual exam, what is the percentage of math MCQs compared to theory MCQs?

    How are you guys getting through BEC? This is some dry stuff! i am still stuck on Chapter 1 and getting most of MCQ wrong in Becker. its so frustrating.
