so what are you going to do between now and the 20th? With those scores I'd say you should move your date up and get it over with!

Those scores are really impressive. For me, I usually score MCs around low to mid 70s. And actually do better on the SIMs. You look good right now, but don't underestimate Auditing. I suggest practicing the Becker SIMs and also do 200 MC progress tests every day until the day before the exam if you can. Don't take this exam lightly. Go pedal to the metal until you walk out of the testing center.

hi SammyJ, Did you also use Becker for review. If so, did re-studied using becker again, what did you do differently. I have done MCQ 3x already in all HW. I am planning to take 2nd practice exam later this week. Should I just keep reading the book over and over or do mcq too.

Move that exam up! Unless you can keep refreshing all the material on a daily basis. I also prepared with Becker and it prepares you really well. I started memorizing answers after doing the questions so many times. To avoid this I would force myself to pick out WHY every incorrect answer choice in the question is wrong! Can't go wrong with that strategy.

cpa runner, thanks, I am trying best not to memorize. this is why I am reading book and not to much mcq

I would do Progress Test. That option is under the Final Review Tab. Its better than doing the homework because it'll randomize the questions given to you. If you do all the homework like 20 straight questions from A-2 materials for example, you are only training your mind to always know whats coming before it comes. When the real exam comes, that is obviously not going to be the case.

There is a system behind how the Progress Tests spits out questions, but its better than to do homework all from the same section. For example, if you choose a 20MC Progress Tests, it may give you like 5 questions from A-1, 5 from A-2, 3 from A-3, 3 for A-4 and 2 for A-5 and A-6.

Definitely review your notes. But I dont think u need to re read the book. Just focuz mostly on the questions. And for all the questions you miss, make sure you read the Becker explanations carefully. Becker does a great job explaining answers. Wiley Test banks don't. So this is a Becker luxury. It helps to also identify what the question is testing you on and where you can find it in the book. Thats how u make sure u know the material well.

@Ismael Antonio..what are the good techniques in using authoritative literature. For both of my practice exam, I didn't use it.

Do you search for “exact” phrases, or combination of words? Have you tried searching for a complete sentence and found the answer? I usually get no results

    #409257

@Cpa now 1, ok, I just recommend you too try to be familiar with the different parts of the AL, for example if you receive to complete a report.

I always use the advance search , good luck.

    FAR: 91, first attempt
