Becker vs Wiley vs other Exam Review before test

For REG, I have completed Becker’s course and Becker’s 2 practice exams, so I purchased Wiley’s practice exams. There is a much larger text bank.

I have used this “method” before so have had some time to think about it. On one hand, I think Wiley is easier than Becker, just based on working problems.

One thing I have found (I think) is that if you just choose random problems from Wiley, the concentration (% from each topic is not even at all. Now I have been going back and picking topics that either I haven’t gotten very many questions on or did not do well on. It’s nice to see that cumulative practice report. I guess there is no way to do this in Becker (take a test or practice questions and see which areas you need help – unless u look at each question, they usually have the section marked.)

This is my 3rd time at reg (gasp) and I have found errors in Wiley’s questions. Recently, I found a limit that no longer applies (is not in Becker text.)

Just trying to find the best way to study after you have gone through one course and are reviewing. Also, any takers on what grade you need on practice exam to pass the real one?

    Good luck everyone!

3 out of 4 passed and sitting for FAR on May 31. Will lose credit for Audit if I don't pass FAR by Aug 4. I love leases and bonds.

bang out 200 hours of REG study using Becker, you will pass. Thats only 2 hours a night for 3 months.

LOL i'm lost on the math – I come up with 186 but that's an interesting concept. I do track hours. 200 is probably a good goal.
