CA Applicants Reapplying Question

Hello! As you all probably read below I am thinking about retaking before I move on. For those of us in California, how long does the process of reapplying and getting a new NTS take?

And another question – do you have to reapply for each of your retakes? Or just reapply once and you can pay for your NTS separately or together from there?

A couple of weeks. You have to reapply ($50) and pay for exam fees (couple hundred) for each new NTS you want. Go to your CBA account and submit your application. Once you are approved you select your exam sections. Then you pay your exam fee. Then you get your NTS. 2-3 weeks total.

Thanks, Mini. So in the long run, it would probably save me money if I finished REG and BEC and then reapplied and got a new NTS for those I need to retake, right?

I know it is hard, but dont let money influence the way you go about passing the exams. If you think you have a better shot of passing AUD because it is fairly fresh in your mind, then consider doing that first. However, you may want to try to pass your hardest section first so you dont run into any issues with the 18 month window. You are basically starting over, so taking REG and BEC next and holding off on FAR and AUD isnt going to kill you either. If you dont want to spend the money right now, take REG and BEC.
