Hi all, How much time normally it takes for CA board to issue license to out of state applicant. Suppose CA board receives all the required documents by Dec 31, 2013. I am curios as it stated that for early fingerprint process out of state applicant should apply 4 months before, does it mean for out of state it takes 6 months. 4 months for fingerprint 2 months for rest of the process. Plz share your experiences.

I bet it will be hard to find another person from a different state applying for the CA license on this forum… Your best bet would be to call CBA and ask them. They do answer their phones 🙂

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
    California CPA since 1/30/14

My application got approved exactly 2 months after I submitted all the documents. And they asked me to pay the license fee. I dropped the check off last Friday, so we'll see how long this will take. They said about 6 weeks.

Awesome choice!! 🙂 Southern or Northern or Bay Area? I'm in Sacramento. Not the nicest city but affordable and close to a lot of cool places.

Even more awesome choice! Lol. That's my dream place to live as well! With a beach front. A girl can dream 🙂

Unfortunately the traffic there is terrible so it stops me from moving down there…. 30 min commute each way is the best I can do.
