Can you use the search function on the exam for sims? I am just wondering if you can use it, cause it would be silly to do something that would cause you to accidentally log out of the exam.

I'm not really sure what you mean about the search function logging someone out of the exam, but there is a keyword search function in the authoritative literature and there is an authoritative literature tab available to be used on every SIM.

Search as in searching to see if a paragraph has the words “depreciation expense” like how you can do that on an internet article.

It has a search function for the authoritative literature, but it's not Control+F.

The sims are pretty compact anyway, you wouldn't need to search for anything in the question.

There should be a “search within” field in the AL that you can use instead of keyboard shortcuts. It takes some getting used to, but I found it really helpful.

I did try it on my first one. It didn't work, and it didn't mess up the exam either. So if you accidentally hit those keys out of habit, you should be fine.

The built in search function is really great once you figure out how to use it!
