I received my score report from my State Board this afternoon after receiving a lovely 72 on FAR yesterday (my last section BTW) hoping that it would answer some questions for me. I was expecting comparable on MCQS and weaker on SIMS and had a decent idea of topics that I could expect to see as weaker. Instead, I rocked what I thought I had bombed and bombed topics I had high practice scores in. WTF??????

Seriously, I cannot believe that I survived SIMS but crapped out on MCQS?!?! ARRRRHHHHGGG!!!!!!!! Now the only questions I have are how much red wine do I have in my house and is it acceptable to start chugging alone until my husband gets home???

Has anyone else survived SIMS and yet still failed???

I have had this happen to me in both FAR and Audit. It sucks big time, and it really messed with my head. Both times I left feeling more confident than I should have because I felt good about the SIMS, and then the MCQs got me. It hurt.

I am waiting to find out my Audit score in Texas (tomorrow am, fingers crossed), and I am worried because although I feel a lot more confident about my MCQs this time around, I feel like I blew the SIMS.

This whole thing can make you crazy. But we can't give up. I know you'll get it next time!

Hugs Mints! I had the SAME score report and score on FAR. I felt it too. The m/c I rushed through after spending half an hour and getting half way through testlet 1. I started freaking out. I had 2 hours on the sims and I felt pretty darn good about those.

I kind of feel like that proves that I do know what I'm doing I just suck at conceptual bs questions!
