I am here too Jeff... Waiting for REG. Took it on 08/31/2009
Excellent...thanks!
Jeff- the forum is great. Dying to know the REG score - took Aug 19th! Anastasia
I took REG on 7/28.. and I will never know my score! NASBA offered me a chance to retake exam ( there were several distractions in the room), and I decided to retake it. I get to retake it for free, but I will never know the score of my first reg exam!
Ouch. Ahh, the life of a cpa exam candidate. Let it motivate you to study extra hard and be DONE with this thing.
I took FAR on Aug 3 and passed with an 83, took REG August 31 and I am awaiting my score but the exam really through me for a loop I ran out of time and felt like I studied the wrong material. I've taken (and passed) Reg before so I was a little disappointed.
I took REG for the third time 8/29. I'm praying I passed this time. My previous scores were 73 and 74.
73 and 74...that's painful! I got a 74 on financial and it was so frustrating, I almost would have rather got 50 something instead. I hope you passed this time!
What materials did you study with? I felt really unprepared for all the s-corp and property questions....Becker usually covers everything but I didn't feel that way this time. Hopefully they were pilot questions that don't count:)
I used Becker both times. I also spent $54 and downloaded the Gliem questions because I had memorized the Becker test bank.
I felt really unprepared on the like-kind exchange sections. Now I realize I could have gone back to the FAR book and studied it. Oh well.
I'm also preparing to take BEC again. I've failed it twice to with a 71 and a 74.
Since BEC is later than expected does that mean the AICPA will be late for REG too?
I hope that REG is posted soon. Waiting for both BEC and REG is pure torture
Baijukb -ALl of them? Or just REC?
I mean REG (not REC)
just BEC i guess
Scores have not been released in CA. I'm actually waiting for BEC in CA.
Jess - me too, waiting for BEC in CA. It's excrutiating. Do you know how long it takes California to post the scores once received by AICPA? Or do they only do it like once a day in the morning or something?
Kristyhana,
I'm not 100% sure. This is my second test. Last window, when I took FAR, California posted the morning after AICPA released the scores.
BEC isn't out yet from what I've seen...I would take the info with a grain of salt.
I am waiting in REG and FAR. I having been dreaming about these tests all week and I am just ready to get it over with. I have already passed the other two. I hope I am finshed.....
I'm in CA waiting and I haven't seen my REG score yet. I did get my FAR score early in the morning (about 6am) on the day that they were released in August by the AICPA so I think CA is pretty quick.
Guess Monday or Tuesday next week for REG NASBA release. :(
Hi Jeff,
Do you think there is still a good chance AICPA will release REG this week? Also, has anyone tried calling NASBA for a grade? REG is my last part, and my 18 month window is up on 10/31. If I had to retake it, I would need to sign up fairly quickly. I've kept up with some studying just in case. Any thoughts on calling NASBA?
Amanda (NH),
Most likely NASBA and your state board would naot have "suggested" you retake the exam unless you had most likely failed. Go with the chance you had the second time around and forget what might or might not have happened before.
Good luck and I hope you passed.
CPA Stressed - It is very likely the AICPA will release either AUD or REG by Friday...
Dying to know my AUD score!!!!! I hate the waiting!
Even though this is the REG forum! LOL... sorry to talk about AUD... i'm just so anxious that i'm reading all the posts!!!
If AICPA releases REG by Friday, does NASBA post anything over the weekend? Or do we have to wait until Monday?
You'll have to wait for Monday, unfortunately. I've never seen NASBA release on a Sat/Sun.
*curse words!*
Thanks, Jeff for the forum. It does help to see others in the same predicament. I toggle between this site and NASBA all day.
