Anyone know if the test is somewhat scaled by state?

Kind of defeats the purpose of being a uniformed exam.

    BEC Oct2014 - 85
    AUD Jan2015 - ??
    REG Feb2015 - ??
    FAR May2015 - ??

I don't think so! But, it that is true, then it's very unfair

Didn't think so. But I thought I bombed FAR and passed with 83. Thought maybe everybody else bombed because it was busy season. Thanks. Diff question being posted now about residency.

It is scaled in a sense, but not compared to your contemporaries at all. It's more like a pre-determined percentile. So if you feel like you failed, it's probably because you're comparing yourself to perfection/100% like we usually have in school, where “passing” feels a certain way. This is scored completely differently, with points based on their experience with each question, and then that is all scaled somehow. FAR is such a hard test that the passing bar is probably set lower, so that feel of “passing” is lower than the usual feeling. Something like that.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

I believe so. If not, then : Why would states have different requirements? Why would there be Indy and non-Indy states? Why would states release their scores at different times?

I know some people in states with easier requirements than my own state that got really high CPA scores, and they scored pretty poorly on the GMAT. Of course, this means nothing, and I'm probably just still bitter for failing AUD, but I believe it may be scaled differently state to state. Even though its a uniformed exam, you are only licensed by your state.

It would be funnier if the exam is graded uniformly, but different states had different passing scores ie:

    Texas: 70

    California: 73

    Delaware: 81

    BA Mathematics, UC Berkeley
Certificates in CPA and EA preparation, College of San Mateo
    CMA I 420, II 470
    FAR 91, AUD Feb 2015 (Gleim self-study)
