    Is it just me, or goes the material being taught not always match the material being tested in the study sections on CPAExcel?

    You are absolutely correct. Sometimes they will ask you questions on material that isn't covered until the next section or so. It's annoying. 🙁

    I have the same issue! I actually ended up buying the self study books and leaving the video course for my actual “review”.

    I slowly learned to like CPA excel when I ditched the videos. They do a decent job of highlighting the important stuff but I was better off just reading the book instead if using their videos. I did if I really was struggling to grasp the concept. I also found their forum very helpful with people asking similar questions.

    @shredd – I completely agree about the CPAexcel videos. I watched most of them while preparing for my first exam (AUD), but completely stopped watching any of them after that. I found that I pretty much zoned out while they were talking, so they didn't do me any good.
