My paperwork for my initial CPA license in NYS was sent to the state board the first week in March after several phone calls to the State Education Department. The last call I made, they stated that my paperwork was sent to the board, but there is a 15 week wait time to get your license. Has anybody had a similar experience with wait times over the past months?

I was told my application went to the board on Jan 9 and it would be 12 weeks. They contacted me in 8 weeks and told me there is a problem with my experience. I am waiting on a new 4B to be approved. It doesn't seem to be as long as they say, but it is still long.
