Do I move on the the next topic or stick to F2?

So this is my second week studying for FAR and the CPA exam in general with Becker. Besides the simulation, I went through all of F2 MCQ’s. At the moment I am completely devastated. My score ranged from as low as 50% to a decent score of 80%. I went through the optional MCQ’s and got a horrible score of 57% =(. The chapter on Foreign currency killed me and I’m convinced I will never understand it.

anyways, what do I do from here? Do I adjust my schedule to study for F2 for another 3-4 days or do I move on the next topic and return to F2 in the future for review? I’ll be taking my FAR exam on 10/9/15, it seems like alot of time but I’ve been busy at work lately because this is the time when everyone starts leaving the firm and unfortunately, half the team on my current engagement has left leaving me with a ton of work to do. I can squeeze in 10-15 hours of studying a week.

Whats the general method people in this forum follow? Finish all MCQ and lectures for FAR and return to the weak areas or master the area and move on?

F2 is universally considered the worst chapter for FAR with Becker. It's very difficult the first time you see it.

My advice is to move on and see the rest of the chapters. Things will make more sense when you come back to F2 after having been exposed to the rest of FAR.

F2 was the most difficult section for me to get through when studying. I would move on and come back after going through all the other chapters. It will make a lot more sense then.
