    Seriously…while I’m studying I start to drift away and think about all the things I have to do after I take the exam. Everything sounds so much better than studying….like cleaning for example!!!! I’ve never been so excited to rip apart my apartment and clean everything!!!!! lol

    I have so many lists going on right now…..all my lists consist of running errands and thinking of the types of diets I could possibly go on after this test lol…the amount of food that I eat while studying is RIDICULOUS!!!!! I’m even excited to go on a diet!!!!! lololol

    sorry…I had to vent to someone…my boyfriend is tired of listening to me complain!!!! lol

    I'm starting to feel this way too! I have taken Reg, BEC is tomorrow for me. I'm not giving myself any break in between exams. I schedule the exams 2 weeks after the course, per Becker recommendations. Which I think is stupid! I start to drift a lot lately.. I think it's because I need a break and I'm cramming so much so quickly! I REALLY wish BEcker had recommended 3 weeks to study after the course.

    Whoa!!! I give it up to you for scheduling your exams so close together. FAR is my first one, but it's the second time I take it. I can't think about another test while studying for FAR. I can barely handle FAR while working full time.

    Stay focused because right after BEC you're taking FAR and IT'S A LOT OF MATERIAL!!!!

    My strategy right now is….pass FAR and don't move on to any other section until I do!!!!

    Good luck on your test tomorrow!!!!

    Lol even audit work is more exciting than studying at times… It's just a huge mental effort we have to make and it requires sacrifice. ehhhh…

    My boyfriend is sick of listening to me complain also, especially cause it's all self inflicted stress. I procrastinate and cannot concentrate. I'd rather clean the bathroom than study. I don't think i have ADD, I'm 22 so I think I'd know by now or would I? 🙂

    “A.D.D.” def kicks itself into high gear for me when I'm studying. I have even found that I can't study at home anymore bc I find things that need to be done (i.e. dishes, laundry, cleaning)…if I'm not there, I don't think about it. Plus, when it's time for me to eat lunch or dinner, I turn on the TV and watch Grey's Anatomy episodes from the DVR…I tell meself I'm only going to watch for 10 minutes while I eat, but I get hooked on the episode! Very bad, I know.

    REG 79 (Becker); BEC 63 (Becker) 70 (Yaeger); AUD 66 (Becker; 11/30 - Becker); FAR 11/24 (Yaeger/Wiley)

    @cpa stressed out

    I do the same thing. Its very difficult trying to stay focused. Especially when it is 90 degree out in chicago. I want to go outside. but I have to stay in and learn LEASES and BONDS ETC bleech!! I am starting ch 6 tonight, i want to be finishing ch 8 by sunday….so come on we all can stay focused. Just give yourself an incentive to finish. If I sit thru the section on the lecture dvd, then do the HW questions….go to the next section of the lecture dvd, then do the HW questions. I reward myself with an episode from my numb3rs dvd or law and order svu.

    I try to do half the lecture and questions on one day, then the other half on the next day. So on the third day I am in a brand new chapter.

    IL - BECKER=============> DONE

    I do the same thing – everything sounds better than studying! Then I remind myself that this MAY be my LAST exam if I get my butt in gear and study!

    I have a list in my desk drawer so when I start thinking about what to do I add it to my list of things to do in September (after exam!). Things like hang a new shower curtain. Very exciting.

    We were eating dinner on the deck last night and I asked my Dad if he can watch the kids on Friday so I can study all day? He said “yeah, you better pass this exam!” and my kids and hubby chimed in too. They have all had enough….as I have…..

    I told my daughter this morning: 11 more days until my test, then we can PLAY!

    Another thing – instead of watching TV for my study reward, I read a chapter of my book! A friend got me started on the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. Light reading and funny. Much more fun that FAR. So before bed I read a Chapter or two as my reward for the day. LOL

    Hello everybody! I hear all of you…I got ZERO studying done this weekend. I just want to hang out with my boyfriend and do nothing else. We took a ride to Newport, RI and went to the Christmas Tree Shop yesterday lol so I could get some decorations for the apartment. I feel a little bit better because I got some more time off from work, which definitely reduces my stress level a ton. No messing around today though, I want to get through the rest of the 11.25 hours of lecture for FAR with Yaeger I have left in the next 2 days. That way, I will still be on track for 2 solid weeks of review.

    hopefully….

    AUD - 84; REG - 90; BEC - 79; FAR - 75; ALL DONE!!

    P.S. I am ripping up and throwing out my study schedule that I made for FAR….it only stresses me out and I know I haven't been keeping up with the 25 hours a week thing, so oh well. I never tracked my study hours for the other 3 and don't think I should start now!

    AUD - 84; REG - 90; BEC - 79; FAR - 75; ALL DONE!!
