I am working toward getting licensed in CA and still need some more college units. The requirements for the accounting study section allow for business related subjects. These subjects include some broad categories such as Marketing and Mathmatics. However, the business ones seem to be more specific such as business law, business communications, business administration and business management. Does any one know if these specific categories the only that are generally accepted? I am considering an Intro to Business class and a Business English class. Do you think these classes would generally be approved or should I stick to those specified such as business law, admin, communications and management?

Check with your state board. If they provide a list of specific courses then stick to it. Your state board is the authority on this.
